Why? Penny has way more upside. He's the most talented RB on SEA. He may not play much first couple games but Kamara's situation last year was similar.

Seattle is a mess and Penny is nowhere near Kamara level from anything that I’ve seen. Didn’t think he was anywhere near worth a 1st rounder (though it only matters what SEA thinks, not me of course). Carroll sure does seem to be deeply in love with Carson for whatever reason.

Breida is the most talented back in SF as well, though his size certainly may work against him in terms of potential workload.

Don’t think they’re too far apart, but I’ll take the guy with the clearer line to touches in the better setup for success. You might be right that Penny has more upside due to him being more likely to be able to carry a full load at some point though so maybe I’m dumb.

In dynasty penny fell to me at 1.12, my rb's are terrible so I grabbed him. Watched his tape after the fact. Nothing jumped our at me and feel like a pick was just burned (sutton was still available).
Don't know what the Seahawks saw.

Just too be clear my post was in response to a suggesstion of dropping Watkins for a kicker; I say that's a horrible idea.

You (and several others) are in full support of the idea. Watkins is basically waiver wire level talent, a 5th wheel in the KC offense and not worth even a bench spot on your teams.

Fair enough - the best part about Fantasy Football is EVERYBODY is a genius before the season starts.

Watkins finished as WR32 last year on a Rams team that never seemed have a role for him in the offense. I expect him to have better numbers this year.

Look at the context of my roster again. Is Watkins the least valuable asset? Matt Ryan being the least valuable is a valid argument. Michael Gallup is the other but I think Gallup has more upside than Watkins. I obviously need to roster a kicker before opening day

Carrying 2 QBs in a one QB league makes no sense to me. But once you get to the Watkins/Gallup tier of WRs there are plenty of upside guys and I feel Watkins and Gallup are both upside guys. But there are plenty of rosterable upside WRs going undrafted so these guys are a dime a dozen and it all "depends". I would dump QB2 and I have no problem streaming QBs this year in 1 QB leagues.

Is anyone downgrading Bell yet based on his not reporting to camp. If so, by how much?

Picked up Conner in one league. League has 3 IDP, 1 QB. Bell owner has Mahomes on bench backing up Russell Wilson and also carrying 4 IDPs. lol @ him

Edit to add: He also has Dan Bailey as his kicker.

Obviously Conner value goes up, the question is how far does Bell go down?

Chris Warren would be solid. Lee isn't really that good and now with the rookie Chark there and Keelan Cole he's like the 3rd best WR on the team at best. Plus you have to downgrade him a bunch because he works with Bortles........

What % of our budget are we bidding on breida and alfmo. One of them is available in one of my leagues and the other is available in another. Assume .5 PPR & $300 faab please. In both leagues my starters are very solid but I don’t have much RB depth. League is with friends that are all over the place with faab bids.

I’m also curious where you all have those 2 belong in your season long .5 ppr rankings.

How would you rank these late round/undrafted WRs in PPR?
Looking for biggest upside potential, not necessarily just the guy most likely you'd start once for a bye week.
