Yelich traded to Brewers, Cain signed with Brewers. Seems odd, since now Domingo Santana is a bench bat...

Anyone know when yahoo or espn fantasy open up?

Yahoo usually opens within a day or two of Superbowl Sunday.
No idea about ESPN

This is just absurdly late. Football opens 4 months before the season begins, but they can't even get baseball started before spring training starts?

Yahoo getting crushed in the comments

The 15-team mixed league LABR draft was this week

I get steals are scarce, but Trea Turner 4th overall seems FPS

All 4 of the elite SP's went in round 1

I pick 7th out of 10 in my most important league, definitely happy to take any of the 4 horseman SP's that's there for my 2nd round pick, I just hope that's not waiting too long

How many pitchers end up with 200+ innings this year? Max, Kluber, Sale, Madbum...

Quintana, the Shark, Verlander, Martinez, Archer, de Grom, Grienke, etc.

tons of people right around that 200ip threshold last year and more likely than not most of these guys will throw that many innings again this year

# of 200+ IP starters per year:

2017 - 15
2016 - 15
2015 - 28
2014 - 34
2013 - 36
2012 - 31
2011 - 39
2010 - 45
2009 - 36
2008 - 34

Based on the recent trend towards using RP's earlier and more often, Id set the O'U at 17 this year

8 of those 15 made it on their last start of the season. I would take the under on 17.

I do think the ship has sailed on ever seeing Kershaw reach 200 again.

Nah, I bet Kershaw will hit 200+ innings a bunch more times in his career unless he suffers a career ending injury in the next couple seasons.
He averages 6.86 innings per start over the past 3 seasons. At that rate he needs 29 starts to reach 200 innings, so he could miss several starts and still get there.
Even if it falls to 6.5 innings per start, he would only need 31 starts.

I dunno, back issues have a way of lingering even in health, and never get better as people age

That said, I'd still be happy to spend a top 10 pick on him

While of course there are injuries. I would expect that if the Dodgers continue to be a team with championship aspersions they will limit his innings as much as they can to have him available at full strength in October

Souza to DBacks, really strange, especially after signing Dyson. Pollock/Peralta/Souza, but Dyson and Tomas on your bench is odd.

Owings in that mix too. Maybe the Dbacks just figure there is no way Pollock stays healthy so they only need 5-6 OFs until he goes down.

pick one as 6th and final keeper:
JDM $22
Bregman $10

That's pretty close, can't really screw up either way. I'd go Bregman especially if you can get him in 2019+ with a few bucks tacked on.

prices increase by $5/year so he'd be $15 next year.

anyone else concerned about this mystery injury with JDM thats apparently prevented the Sox from letting him sign his contract yet?
