I've been playing in a private DK "league" and I'm enjoying the **** out of it. What's the best way to ease into some low-roller public events?
Start off by watching the Pat Mayo Experience weekly DK golf show. Also, check out RickRunGood's weekly vid on Youtube. Both of these shows offer awesome insight for building lineups.
For easing in, start off with tournament with smaller fields. There are 1 v. 1 options, and tournies with 20 or 100 players. If you really want to hit a big one, DK has $3 and $4 large field events. With the minimal buy-in, you can get your experience and still have a big money sweat.
I strictly play the $4 or $5, large field DK GPP. I throw around 10 lineups per week into it.
