Biggest overlay of the golf season in today's Day 4 DK events.

I don't think many people realized that points were being rewarded for finishing positions.
I believe that in prior weekend-only DK events, only scoring points accrued.

There's lineups out there that have 4 or 5/6 guys on the course at noon, when you chould have had a lineup with all/most of the top guys!

For example, 1st place in the $5 event right now (12:15) has 132 points and 51 holes left. I have lineups that are cashing, with all my guys to go (108 holes), and have 49 points! Hopefully I run good and get lucky!

Yeah when I wrote what I wrote earlier about playing guys near the bottom it was based on day 2 and 3 not giving points for finishing position.

I did a Day 4 showdown today with no idea of what I was doing. $2 9-man where Top 3 pay.

I'm in 1st for now, but I think I'll lose it and take 2nd.

Between the full GPP's and the Sunday-only, I was in for 26 lineups/$161.

I cashed 6 lineups, for a loss of $115.
On the season, I have cashed 38/201 lineups, for a loss of $279.
Last year right now I was down $201, but I have been averaging more entries per week this season.

My best lineup had 484 points: Rory, Rose, Henrik, Casey, Hadwin, Hoffman.

On to the Heritage!! 9 tourneys between now and the US Open.
Anyone know if Millimaker qualifiers will start this week? I hope so.

Going with a somewhat different approach to my lineups this week. I am going to figure out who will be most owned, and just fade them. Looks like DJ, despite the 12K price tag, will be a fave. And Luke Donald, who plays well here consistently, will have very high ownership. I will avoid them completely. Looking for low ownership, high upside golfers this week.

Barring any late scratches, my lineups are set. 9 entries in the $5 DK event.

I have the most of Ollie, Harman, Hadwin, Grillo, Kisner, Webb, Streelman, Cam Smith, and Vaughn Taylor.

Filled out my usual random lineup, made only of golfers that are not in ANY other of my lineups. DJ and Donald are in that one.

I did my 1st lineup before doing actual research.

Cantlay, Furyk, Zack Johnson, Kuchar, Ollie, Corey Conners (I think I'm gonna ride him until he's 8.5k).

Adam Hadwin WD...check your lineups...I had him in 5!

I had him in one, then I tried some super extra research involving spreadsheets. Hadwin was the perfect 6th player, until I saw the O. Then, i came here and saw your post. Thanks Foxxy.

Going into Sunday I have 3 lineups cashing, and it looks like a profitable week.

So naturally, I fired 5 lineups in the DK Round 4 $5 tourney.

I need to either stop it with the Day 4 tournies or figure out a better strategy.

I broke even on my whole tournament lineups, but lost on my Day 4 entries.

On the week, in for 15 lineups, $75. Cashed 5 lineups, for a loss of $16.
On the season, I have cashed 43/216 entries, for a loss of $295.

My best lineup this week was pretty good.

I also smashed a 10-1 bet on "the field" to win the tourney. I had everyone except the top 20 favorites, and the two guys who made it into the playoff were both in "the field." I was rooting hard against List and Poulter down the stretch. I needed that too-was getting killed on golf prop bets lately.

I like that DK is making it easier to parlay a little into a lot.

This week I will have 2 entries in a Fantasy Golf World Championship qualifier.
It's a 72 person contest, 2 entry max, and one winner gets a $980 ticket into a FGWC qualifier.

I will also have 12 entries in the $4 GPP, so will be in for $80 this week.

I have the most of: Charley, Steele, Streelman, List, Kokrak, Van Aswegan, and Xander.

Most lineups are based around these players, with many long shots sprinkled in.

It was so hard to nail down the cheaper guys that could perform well this week, so I used a bunch.

We should have similar lineups. I went a few stars and scrubs and an All 8k lineup.

I'm at Disney with the family and extended family, so I couldn't do any major real research.

Palmer and Moore were on my list, too.

Lot of List and Kokrak as well. I like the way Martin Laird is playing right now as well.

I really love Kokrak on these kind of setups he often preforms well.

I'm losing a bunch on qualifiers. I will probably cut them out all together.

Best team was 423-Hoffman, Steele, Streelman, Suri, Kokrak, and Baddeley.

I'm actually glad there is no DK event this week for the Zurich, and I won't play the Euro Tour event, as I only know about 10 players in the field.

Also, I have been looking for a new job, and actually didn't watch golf this weekend for once. That, and the NHL playoffs are getting good.

I took a week off for the Zurich but I'm back! Will be researching PGA info in the next day or two and will release my faves then.

I played a few NBA DK events in the past week or so. For $10 they have a GPP where someone wins 100K every night!

However, I feel like there's more sharks in the NBA DK waters than in PGA, am I wrong?

Also, the line between winner and loser is razor sharp. For instance, last night I had a lineup in the $10 DK event. At halftime I was 11 points away from 1st place. In the 3rd quarter I dropped out of the money, and when the games were over I was back in the money for a $15 cash. CRAZY!

I don't do NBA dfs. I only do the sports that interest me to the point I'm going to watch.

I watch a ton of NFL and PGA, and some NHL, but not for DFS.

I'm in the research phase for this week, but I'll be looking at Strokes Gained off the Tee, I imagine.

At least I went 2-0 on matchup bets, and they weren't even close. Phil over Tiger, and Decham over Koepka.
