2 WR or 3 WR?

The Ajayi trade has put me into a predicament in a 12-team ESPN non-PPR league for Week #10 (next week)

I've been starting Kareem Hunt & Jay Ajayi all year, but the trade means they will now both be on bye on Week 10.

My backup RBs are Rob Kelley & Chris Ivory. Meh.

Best options on our league's waiver wire are:
Latavius Murray (was just waived by someone else, I can put in a waiver claim for tomorrow, but I'm at the bottom of the priority list and I anticipate someone else will get him)
Andre Ellington
Damien Williams (someone else got Kenyan Drake on waivers already, who seems more likely to be the Dolphins best fantasy RB option)
Eddie Lacy (Seahawks RB committee ugh)
Thomas Rawls (ditto)

I'm guessing my best plan is to try to get Murray on waivers and pick 2 or Murray/Kelley/Ivory next week and hope it works out. If I can't get him, which of the named scrubs should I get (if any)?

Need a replacement for Brady this week. Who do you like between:

Cousins @ Sea
Cam vs ATL
Stafford @ GB

For this week:

That's been my thoughts exactly, and can't make up my mind.

Whenever I've been having a hard time breaking a tie, I sometimes look at next week's matchup or playoff matchups as a tiebreaker.

Given you have Brady, obviously subsequent weeks aren't going to mean much to you. But maybe there's a 5%-10% chance that someone in week 10 will want to trade with you (possibly because week 10 has a lot of byes too, or maybe, god forbid, their main QB gets injured this week). GL.

Honestly, I feel like Stafford is maybe the slightly better play, given the uncertainty with how the Carolina passing game is going to shake out.

I would play Stafford and don't think its really that close of a call

+1 for Stafford but not by much, although maybe more than not by much with K Benjamin now gone

I think he means looking ahead at future matchups in the event you want to use him again (if you don't have a must-start QB1)

If Prosise is available in any redraft leagues, now's the time to grab him. All he has to do is steal the backfield from lol-Rawls and lol-Lacy, and you have yourself a fantasy-playoffs difference maker. Pete Carroll has basically said he's going with the "hot hand" tonight at RB, so get him now while he's cheap.

Would you drop Alex Collins, Henry, Abdullah, alfmo, Maclin, or Jordy for him?

Maybe Maclin, have to think about it - probably ok if Maclin is your WR5. Definitely don't drop any of the others.

Have $52 left in a .5 PRR league w/no flex, who would be best to spend $$$ on as a backup RB?

My RBs are Melvin Gordon/Hunt/Kenyan Drake

Think on Williams is fine. Burkhead you have to be ready for Hoodie to frustrate you. But on the surface he can line up in all kinds of spots.


What are people doing with Ekeler? Don't know the player, just seeing his role and it looks decent. How high we burning a waiver for him?

I hear you, though Burkhead is really appealing despite the Pats fluid backfield situation. That offense is just so good.

Will prob set Williams as higher priority but idk, tough decision. Appreciate the input y'all.
