I wanted to get a better understanding of what the top 10/top 25/top 50/top 100 DFS pros on DraftKings and FanDuel expect to earn, both in terms of money and ROI, in a particular calendar year. Obviously what defines a top DFS pro is broad and is a constantly changing ranking (i.e. a recreational player who wins the milly maker will be one of the top $ earners for that year but would not qualify him as a top pro).
From what I have read in the past, it seems that the top 10 guys can (or at least used to be able to) expect to make over $500k in a calendar year with ~20%+ ROIs. On the bottom end of the top 100 spectrum, I would then estimate that someone, or maybe a rotating player pool of 30-60 people, may expect to make $100k/calendar year with slightly lower or even potentially similar ROIs as the top 10 pros but just have less $ invested/smaller bankroll/more risk averse/etc.
In addition to this information, I was wondering what sports and what specific contests you believe to have the highest potential ROIs available.
You're asking questions no one can answer. The few people that could give you a reasonable educated guess wont bother. The DFS landscape is changing so quickly it would be irrelevant in a couple months anyway.
