My team is going to be 1-1 unless Stafford trips on his shoelaces in warmups. I put up the most points in the league week 1. Its 12 team, 1.25 PPR, return yards count. Start QB/ 2RB/ 3WR/ TE/ wrt flex/ K/ DEF ITs also a weird keeper league where we kept 3 players this year and will keep 4 next year. Next year must keep 3 different positions. We can also trade next year's draft picks. We also have IR spots. But I kinda hate my team right now. So-
My team:
Rivers
Shady/DeMarco/Sproles/Theo/Buck Allen/Jaquizz
Keenan/Tyreek/Diggs/Amendola
Gronk/Doyle
His team:
Brees/Ryan/Smith (??wtf)
Ajayi /THompson/Coleman/ T West/ Hill
Antonio/Pryor/Watkins/R. Matthews/Lee
Olsen/Fiedorowiezc
This guy has not made a trade in 7 years. He has no reason to have 3 QBs, including 2 elite ones that have the same bye week. I played Bradford as my week 1 fill in and then dropped him. Ryan's playoff schedule is the Saints twice, so I want him.
I thought about Gronk/DeMarco/Amendola (3 healthy dudes imo) for Antonio/Ryan/Olsen. Doubt that will fly.
I tire of Gronk's brittleness-- this guy needs a TE, I would love to get Brown, but he has no other WR that are interesting. He needs help at RB.
Any ideas of what I could offer that would be perceived as a win-win? If I picked up Brown or Ryan they would definitely be keepers for next year.
It's gonna be really tough to get Antonio Brown in a keeper league with a format that makes him even more valuable from a guy who hasn't made a trade in 7 years.
Ryan or Brees should be gettable, but this seems like the type of guy that will demand his inflated qb value for them regardless of how many he has. So he'll want like 4th rd value for Ryan and 3rd rd value for Brees even though lol at drafting those guys anywhere near that. Also your team isn't really deep enough to give up a WR or RB upgrade for him imo, and Rivers isn't that much worse than Ryan anyway.
However if you just want to throw away some ev this year for the future, he might take something like DeMarco for Ryan, or you could try to throw Shady/Gronk for Brown and maybe that be considered. This type of guy isn't going to take an "even" or "fair" deal, so you kinda have to blow him away if you really want to make something happen. You're better off just staying put though prob.
