TEs always suck and are always random. Pay up for Gronk or Kelce and worry about injury or just stream. Any one is just as likely to have a good day and many of them will have a huge one surrounded by duds. I like guys like Clay or Witten or Zack Miller because I feel they will at least get targets.

Last few years I've never been unhappy owning Delanie Walker. He was never the reason I lost a week.

It's in the draft thread, and moving it to this one will get it buried too fast. Should we have a props bet thread to store stuff like that?

I think there's already one in existence in SE. Anyway I made a note to not forget, my memory is bad.

Lost TE in every league I'm i (well potentially).

Who are the TE'S you guys are targeting as pickups?

I lost Olsen yesterday in my PPR league. Hope to get either Witten, Clay or Miller (all available now). Might also consider Doyle, Fleener or Cook. I don't want guys like Hooper or James who are way too hit or miss. I want somebody with consistent targets. They are all a crap shoot though and often dependent on game flow.

I lost Olsen in a league with deep benches so there are a ridiculous 24 TE taken. Will consider it a gift if I can get Cook or Watson

Allen might be worth a look with Gronk maybe hurt?

Cook seems to be fairly involved for the raiders. Can see him putting up a consistent 4/40 type line with a random TD here and there.
As a Gronk owner Miller will be my top target with cook as my backup.

I'm thinking of picking up ASJ this week.

If he explodes, I don't want to have to hope on getting him through waivers.

If not, I can drop him and pick up a Zach Miller or something stupid.

Is there a trade thread? If so, please move.

My team is going to be 1-1 unless Stafford trips on his shoelaces in warmups. I put up the most points in the league week 1. Its 12 team, 1.25 PPR, return yards count. Start QB/ 2RB/ 3WR/ TE/ wrt flex/ K/ DEF ITs also a weird keeper league where we kept 3 players this year and will keep 4 next year. Next year must keep 3 different positions. We can also trade next year's draft picks. We also have IR spots. But I kinda hate my team right now. So-

My team:

Rivers
Shady/DeMarco/Sproles/Theo/Buck Allen/Jaquizz
Keenan/Tyreek/Diggs/Amendola
Gronk/Doyle

His team:

Brees/Ryan/Smith (??wtf)
Ajayi /THompson/Coleman/ T West/ Hill
Antonio/Pryor/Watkins/R. Matthews/Lee
Olsen/Fiedorowiezc

This guy has not made a trade in 7 years. He has no reason to have 3 QBs, including 2 elite ones that have the same bye week. I played Bradford as my week 1 fill in and then dropped him. Ryan's playoff schedule is the Saints twice, so I want him.

I thought about Gronk/DeMarco/Amendola (3 healthy dudes imo) for Antonio/Ryan/Olsen. Doubt that will fly.

I tire of Gronk's brittleness-- this guy needs a TE, I would love to get Brown, but he has no other WR that are interesting. He needs help at RB.

Any ideas of what I could offer that would be perceived as a win-win? If I picked up Brown or Ryan they would definitely be keepers for next year.

The Miller you guys speak of is Zach? I guess he's ok, garbage time is saving him every week. This week he was a total bust till that last drive.

What are we thinking about Ben Watson? I still think Engram is the sneakiest get as B Marshall is finished and their run game is awful.

It's gonna be really tough to get Antonio Brown in a keeper league with a format that makes him even more valuable from a guy who hasn't made a trade in 7 years.

Ryan or Brees should be gettable, but this seems like the type of guy that will demand his inflated qb value for them regardless of how many he has. So he'll want like 4th rd value for Ryan and 3rd rd value for Brees even though lol at drafting those guys anywhere near that. Also your team isn't really deep enough to give up a WR or RB upgrade for him imo, and Rivers isn't that much worse than Ryan anyway.

However if you just want to throw away some ev this year for the future, he might take something like DeMarco for Ryan, or you could try to throw Shady/Gronk for Brown and maybe that be considered. This type of guy isn't going to take an "even" or "fair" deal, so you kinda have to blow him away if you really want to make something happen. You're better off just staying put though prob.

In a 12 team semi-dynasty league (start 10 + 8 bench, keep 11 for free) should josh gordon, edelman, meredith, or kenneth dixon be owned?

Not sure on Dixon, but the rest prob should, at least until we see if anything is happening with Gordon on Thursday.

are we dropping either corey coleman or olsen in 12-team ppr league (3wr+flex) ? I have zero depth at WR. Prob not dropping Olsen, but wondering with Coleman.

If you have IR spots then def grab Dixon. Although his value goes down every time buck Allen does well

It's not really deep benches. Probably have to hold Gordon but I wouldn't blame you for dropping him as we probably won't get any clarity for a month or so.

Dixon I'd dump as he's also suspended 6 games next year.

Meredith depends on who is on the WW

I've heard both instances but either way I don't think he's some amazing talent that needs to be held with 18 man rosters.

Managed to snatch Engram on 3 teams before the game last night. Gotta thank that sneaky Wolves for tipping us off to him. That team is so bad that he's gonna get a ton of targets. Specially with Marshall sucking so hard.

i mean, he is serving his suspension and wont miss games next year, its not a fluid situation or anything. of course, in general, guys coming off injuries who have had PED problems in the past is usually not a great combo.

he'll be 24, showed some really great flashes last year, on a team that only really has 1 potential long term rb (allen), so he's worth stashing and seeing what happens this year and into the off season. if he has an IR spot free, worth grabbing him as it wont cost anything for now.

Need some advice for my biggest money league.

12 teams, start 2/2/3/flex .5ppr

QB: Ryan, Rodgers, Bortles
RB: CJ Anderson, Ellington, Mack, McFadden, Sims, Woodhead (IR)
WR: Dez, M Bryant, Hill, Hopkins, Lee
TE: Eifert

I'm 2-0, but my RB situation is obviously awful. Started the year with CJ, Ware, Woodhead, Mcfadden which turned to **** pretty quickly. Only have the #5 waiver so I doubt I can pick up anyone playable there. I'm thinking of trying to trade Dez for an RB2 type. Any suggestions?
