2. Robby Anderson's value increasing significantly if Petty is the starter for the Jets......could flirt with WR2 numbers if thats the case.
Who wrote the bold part? Beat writer? Coach? Fantasy analyst (or stat guy)? It matters.

McCown was named the starter today anyway. RIP WR2 numbers.

Pretty much the only reason why I avoid YPLs until about a week before the reg season.

Easy (and perhaps obvious) compromise is to simply have a 2x/week waiver cycle during the preseason/offseason (or 3x/week or 7x/week if you prefer) - but no FAs under any circumstances until a few days before the season starts.

This is less of an issue in deep leagues (since most backups get drafted), but not for YPLs where only 150 players get rostered (including kickers and defenses).

I've never played in a league that did it any differently. Solid point, though. I took a **** at the right time and ended up with Kareem Hunt.

Came across this interesting Amendola stat........

When Edelman was out in 2015 because of injury Amendola played his position.

4 games play 8.0 catches (11.0 targets), 76.0 yards and 0.3 TDs per game

Week 9 at NYG: 10 catches, 11 targets, 79 yards
Week 10 v. BUF: 9 catches, 12 targets, 117 yards
Week 11 v. DEN: Hurt out
Week 12 v. PHI: 7 catches, 13 targets, 62 yards and a TD
Week 13 at HOU: 6 catches, 8 targets for 46 yards

Does anyone have a good podcast recommendation other than the one on ESPN? Must be getting old, because I have no patience anymore for listening to Matthew Berry make the same 5 jokes every week for 60% of the show. Looking for some entertainment value, but not that BS.

Map out the first round and decide, IMO.

You won't get Bell, Johnson, Brown or Julio (unless something strange I don't know about), so do you have a strong preference between (Odell, McCoy, Evans, Freeman..)? Someone you have to have? If not, move to 6th.

There is also a small chance that one of the 4 drops to 5, but not sure what sort of league you are in. If you think one of those 4 drop, keep #5. Personaly I like Jordy Nelson after the top 4, so I would be fine moving to 6, as I don't think he will be taken top 5.

If it's a more casual league where there's a chance someone takes Rodgers/Brady/Homer pick etc take 5 and hope. If not, doesn't really matter imo.

its a pretty decent league, last year there were no donk picks and pretty competitive, 1 and 2 are a lock to take bell and dj and 4 isnt passing on ab. Im liking mccoy this year and ill be fine with either him or jj (ive seen him go as high as 3 on some mocks). when i mock draft on 5 i have a sh** pick on the 4 round, taking martavis that round is a reach?

lol felt the same way for a few years now. fantasy football content is fine but i feel like the brand of humor on the show plays to 15 year old boys.

In a first year auction dynasty/keeper draft where you keep 11 of your rostered 18 for free (every yr after this we will draft 7 players and everyone starts the draft w/ $500) how much are we spending on some of the top players? I legit don't know if they should be going for $225 of our $500 budget or $100. 1qb/2rb/2wr/2flex/1te/1def/8bench

Any thoughts are appreciated.

^I'm in a very similar situation but 3wr, 1 of the flexes is a superflex and we only keep 6/17. My gut says the top young guys (DJ, Evans, OBJ, Bell) should be super expensive but I'm not really sure whether that means like 30% of budget or 50% (or more?)

What are people doing with Ty Montgomery? He's pretty clearly a RB but on CBS the team that drafts him would be able to play him at both RB and WR. I'm not in leagues on other sites like Yahoo or ESPN. What are they allowing?

RB only as it obv should be. Lol CBS as it always has been. Prob moves him up to a 3rd round pick depending on the set up.

Just curious on what everyone thinks of this team. I play in a 12 team standard scoring league. Its been going about 10 yrs and is pretty competitive. This is the first year we're playing keepers. 3 players can be kept at the cost of their drafting round next year for 2 yrs. I didnt have a first round pick but i had 2 2nds and 2 3rds.

Qb A. Rodgers rd 3
Wr T.Hill rd 4
Wr K Benjamin rd 5
Wr J. Maclin rd 7
Rb T. Gurley rd 2
Rb L. Fournette rd 2
Te C. Olsen rd 6
Flex C. Mccaffrey rd 3
B R. Cobb rd 8
B T. Ginn jr rd 9
B E. Lacy rd 10
B S. Perine rd 11
B J. Conner 14

Ahh so this must explain why Pryor's ADP is so high...people hoping they can start a QB in a WR spot

What are players that were going around your picks in rd2 and 3? I legitimately hate this team... I also hate going qb early and if i go qb early hate getting a te earlier than round 9 or 10. it seems like you have 0 depth.

I think you should've kept your first round pick. The 3rd round is pretty sucky this year, so having 2 3rds isn't as valuable as it might seem. Also don't think you got good value with those 2nds and 3rds anyway. Guys like Ginn and Lacy seem like bad picks in this format...though I suppose Lacy is a bad pick in all formats
