im not saying ginn's ADP is bad, looks like hes ~150th ADP now in the range of like, marvin jones/jay jones/jamaal charles/back up QBs, so yeah, id take ginn well before any of that

but that doesnt mean hes good at football. hes not getting faster (what was his biggest asset) and still drops the ball and is on a team with many more options than CAR had

Yeah i see hidden value there.......the Saints offense shouldn't change much andveven though Ginn is no Cooks NO wasnt using Cooks right anyway......now they have Ginn and he fits nicely in that offense.....

How long does a 12-team team yahoo standard auction draft take? My league voted to switch to it this year, but now there is resistance from people and they want to change back. Time length of draft seems to be their main contention but not sure that's even accurate.

My 10 teams auctions take ~2 hours I think.

Sounds on par with snake drafts

My auctions go a bit faster, but part of it is that I bid up some players to reasonable levels instead of letting the studs go 1-2-3 etc...

I think about 1 1/2 hour for a 10 team auction.

Last year I got "stuck" with Ezekiel Elliot for $32 because he was going up a $ at a time and I cut out that nonsense and bidding 32 (thinking he would definetly be over $40).

Who's on your never drafting list in PPR? say the top 5-7 of RB/WR/QB. Talk me out of some of mine (or I guess talk me into them):

RB: Ingram, Hyde, Montgomery, Riddick, Gillslee, Blount, Rob Kelley

WR: D Thomas, Benjamin, Sanders, Watkins, Britt

QB: Luck, Dalton, Tyrod,

usually my 12 team snakes last about hour and a half, and 12 team auctions 2-2.5 hours.

but like, if length of the draft is the reason not to do auction then wtf are they even doing? drafting is by far the best part of FF

In PPR, whenever I can draft a back that rarely scores, rarely catches the ball, plays on a bad team, has had a pair of concussions as well as issue with his foot, both knees, shoulder, back, ankle and torn MCL, I race to hit the draft now button.

Meh pass if you want. I'm high on him this year.....like the shanny factor and Hydes quietly been one of the best backs in the league when he's healthy.......he is injury prone so far though.....

I'm buying into the hyde hype this year. Seems the best of the bunch at the 3/4 turn this year.

In other ppr value news, Charles Sims seems to be going almost undrafted. Seems like a decent 13th rd pick to me.

I don't do PPR, but I see no reason why Montgomery and Riddick would be on your do not draft lists in that format. Montgomery in particular has seen his price become quite reasonable recently.

Thomas and Sanders both seem like they are undervalued in PPR if anything. Yeah their qb almost certainly sucks, but they get like all of the targets for their team and they were both solid last year with the same shaky set up. Also, there is some evidence in camp/preseason that DT screens will be more of a thing again this year. Seem like guys with super high floors, if limited ceilings, but their prices reflect that lack of ceiling so I wouldn't be actively avoiding.

See to reason to avoid Dalton either. I mean, I don't want him as my starter, but if I end up with someone like Ben/Rivers/Stafford as my QB1, I'd be fine with Dalton as my QB2. Adding healthy Eifert plus Ross/Mixon to AJG da gawd should give him a nice set of weapons to work with.

Rest seem reasonable, though I'm on the Hyde bandwagon as well, but it seems like he does lose value in ppr so whatevs.

is there a website that lists and tracks RB handcuffs through the season? sort of like closermonkey does for baseball closers?

would love for someone to tell me its not that big of a deal...

keeper choices in ppr, can keep 2:

Pryor with a 6th AND 8th (via a trade)
Demarco with a 4th
Howard with a 7th

Obviously Howard is one. Kind of tempted to get Demarco and be done with RB's.

As long as Rivers is on his game I wouldn't be too worried. He can get the ball to his guys.
