From Rotoworld:

"According to Matt Lombardo of NJ Advance Media, "it wouldn't be surprising" if LeGarrette Blount is among the Eagles' cuts. Lombardo also wonders if Wendell Smallwood's job is in jeopardy."

Wow. I assume Donnel Pumphrey is the guy we want for now?

Looks pretty good, although I've never done dynasty before. Super nice Garoppolo pick, not sure how he lasted that long, guess it depends on your keeper structure.

Odell was #1 I assume? Also please list the 1st round if ya don't mind.

Does anyone know of any freely available trade calculators for snake redraft? In my friends/family leagues almost no one trades during the draft (usually out of fear that they might "lose" the trade), and I'd like to somehow encourage more action (alcohol usually helps a lot, too), and I'm thinking that maybe some knowledge of some easy-to-access tools might help that effort.

FBGuys has one (https://www.footballguys.com/pickvalue.htm), but it's not clear what their calculation of "value" means. Also not clear if it's PPR/Standard/etc. Importantly, it'd be nice if it was easy to understand by someone who isn't browsing fantasy stats/news every day.

The primary backup is rookie Jamaal Williams.

Last I read he was doing well, and even saw that he might be pushing Ty for the job.

He is definitely a backup RB you wanna grab, and wouldn't be surprising if he got significant usage since Ty doesn't seem to be your prototypical NFL back.

So you mean it's a keeper league? Pretty hard to without knowing what other TE's are out there. You'd be paying up on McAfee/cook/mixon/Davis for Gronk.
Hard to answer without knowing roster, how many keepers each year and who is available.

two keepers. its not based on round and there are no yearly limits, you just get to keep two guys. since you can trade draft picks the people without 2 keep worthy players often ship a mid round pick to a team who has three good players, so its pretty much just the consensus top 24 guys being kept except for rookies.

right now I have gurley and michael thomas (pretty bad) and the third pick. fournette should go 1st. dez and crowell are the highest rated guys available by yahoo rankings but gronk seems very underrated there to me. all the rookie RBs are obviously available and won't get back to me so its a tough spot since I honestly dont see a RB2 that will be there for my second pick. maybe just start like abdullah and go hard in the paint on all the handcuffs hoping for one hit.

Corey clement should be the handcuff to Blount right now. Hard to see how he keeps the job over Smallwood but the new coaching staff doesn't like Smallwood for some reason

A couple guys i like to outperform their ADP.

QB

Marcus Mariota - Maybe the best OL in football. Two good backs to run and catch passes out if the backfield. Good to great WR everywhere. Not to mention he's capable of running for 6-7 TD's and 500 yards.......

RB

Rex Burkhead- Bloom had a short comment on him today and he nailed it. Burkhead’s catch and run score in the second preseason game is letting the cat out of the bag. He is talented enough to put up RB1 numbers on only 15 touches a game in this offense, and the hamstring woes of Mike Gillislee are opening the door for just that to happen. The backfield is crowded, but injuries and Burkhead’s all-around play and ability to keep defenses off balance could clarify it very quickly

WR

Cooks - NE is going to show NO how to use him. Lots of single coverage deep and in space.

Tyreek- WR7 in PPR leagues once the chiefs got him more involved.......he still didnt exactly kill the snap count. Now he's going to be KC's WR1.......he reminds me of Steve Smith.......

TE

Gronk- healthy for training camp for the first time in a long time. He'll win you your league if he stays that way. Being drafted late 2nd early 3rd.......

On a side note Jimmy Graham would have made that list before Seattle lost their left tackle Fant......shame but Jimmy could run less routes now. Can't score ff points staying in to block.........

I'm in a 0.5ppr where Burkhead is available. Would you drop Riddick for him? I'm thinking Burkhead has more upside, but it's hard to estimate his floor. We've also never seen Riddick's usage with Abdullah healthy, so uncertainties on both ends.

if theo riddick is your worst player in ppr I dont think it matters what you do from here out

Yea the only reason that dropping Theo would make sense is if there are very tight position-level maximums. Drop your kicker for now if you can.

Heh, this is the soft league I referenced earlier when asking about how to handle Zeke in early drafts.

Dalton
Shady, TyMont, Woodhead, Riddick, Henry
AJG, Baldwin, DT, Keenan, Tate, Diggs
Eifert

I guess Henry would be the worst player AORN, but instant RB1 if Murray goes down

and like, 2rb/2wr/flex? and ppr or non ppr?

non-ppr i can see the case for dropping henry

So I got into a league that allows pre-draft trades and ended up with the 8th pick. I value DJ highly so thought I'd take a stab at the top spot. I started with 8 and 32 for 1 and 73, which is even value on the fbguys pick value calculator, but figured I would have to overpay for 1 and was willing to do so. She countered with 17 and 32 for her 1 and 72. Uh, I accepted. I should play with women more often?
