Hey is the Detroit D legit in fantasy? Barely watched them this year. See them as an add in a few of my leagues.

I want to believe but I just don't see it. They just cant get QB pressure/sacks. Probably outside top 12 defenses ROS and that's with a fairly favorable schedule the rest of the way.

There has to be someone else in your league who is in need of a TE - see if you can trade for a bench guy with upside that you like.

It gets said every year, but lol @ drafting non-Gronk TEs before the double digit rounds.

I have Brees and Dak for some reason and am looking to move one for some WR help now that the QB apocalypse is upon us.

Thoughts on which is better to hold on to?

I like it man... someone posted jordy's numbers without Rodgers ans theyre solid. It gives you an upgrade at rb2 and te. Only a little dpwn grade at wr... I probably take it

Thoughts on this trade?:

12 team dynasty .5 PPR league. Just lost Aaron Rodgers.

Lineups are:
1 QB
1 RB
2 WR
1 TE
3 FLEX (W/R, W/T, W/R/T)
2 IDP
15 Bench, 3 IR

RB DEPTH (Before Trade): Gurley, Martin, Smallwood, McGuire, McKissic, Conner
WR DEPTH (Before Trade): Evans, Crabtree, G.Tate, M. Bryant, Ginn, JJ Nelson, R. Louis (browns), R. Lewis (giants), Humphries
QB DEPTH (Before Trade): Rodgers, Rivers, Eli, Garroppolo

Traded away: Phillip Rivers, Tate, Smallwood
Received: Cousins, Crowell

I'm 6-0 right now in the league and I'm trying to win this year. I love this trade because I got to keep Rodgers and I now have a future hall of famer as my 2nd QB after this season. I hate losing Tate but I think with my WR depth I will be okay.

Forgot to add that after this trade, I dropped Eli for Beathard (1% FAAB) and picked up Jeremy Kerley (0%).

Brees imo (but it's close, perhaps surprisingly), but you can probably get a better WR by dealing Brees than one from dealing Dak.

Generally when I'm in such a situation and looking to sell, I just straight up ask potential trading partners who they'd prefer. "Hey, are you interested in Dak or Brees? Willing to sell me Thielen or Davante Adams in exchange?"

Brees>>>>>dak

However, I think this is a common opinion so you may be able to get a lot better WR for Brees.

I don't like the trade for you. Tate is too much for the small upgrade at QB.

Drop Eli and Garroppolo and find a back-up RB or young WR, IMO.

Garrapolo is someone I'm definitely picking up around week 12 in my dynasty league.
But I'm QB poor

How is Garrapolo not on a roster in a dynasty league? Seems like a grab now sort of situation. Short bench or something?

All right, so I have a trade offer hovering over me in dynasty that I don't like, but am starting to feel like I have no choice.

My QB situation is pretty much garbage now that I've been crushed by injuries and Andrew Luck has had another setback. We play deep-- 24 roster spots, 3 IR spots. Nine starting spots: QB, RBx2, WRx3, TE, W/T flex, W/T/R flex. We play with half-PPR and first-down scoring (0.5 passing and receiving; 1.0 rushing).

I'm 4-2 and in first place because I've outscored second place by more than 100 points. I'm killing it at RB and TE but am hobbled by injuries elsewhere.

My roster:

QB: Luck (O), Tannehill (IR), Brissett, Kizer, Hundley
RB: Fournette, Hunt, Elliott, David Johnson (IR), Kamara, McFadden, Jamaal Williams, Alex Collins, Chris Carson (IR)
WR: Diggs, Parker, Decker, Lee, Agholor, Lockett, Godwin, Josh Reynolds, Conley (O), Gordon (SUS)
TE: Gronkowski, Engram, Brate

I've been offered Carson Palmer and Teddy Bridgewater (remember, this is dynasty) for Cameron Brate. On paper I don't like the deal but given the shape of my roster I think it might be necessary to give myself a chance to win this year-- and if Bradford / Bridgewater keep trending the directions they are, maybe help myself out long-term with another good QB (who I can trade if Luck comes back healthy and keep if he doesn't). What do I do? Take it? Reject it out of hand? Ask for more?

If you built this roster in a serious dynasty league then you should only be giving advice here, never taking it.

Also - I would deal Brate

getting palmer for brate seems fine given your roster but I'd personally go for a bigger trade. you have 4 of the top 5 dynasty rb's. even with DJ hurt you cant start kamara because you have 3 studs ahead of him. I would try to package one of your stud rbs with brate and parker or decker for an elite wr and decent qb.

116 targets

1093 yds
7 TDs

Those are nice WR12-WR18 numbers.
This includes that dumb game vs Detroit where Matt Flynn threw for 500 yards and Jordy got 162 yards and 3 touchdowns. Looking at the big stretch of games Rodgers missed in 2013 Jordy averaged 62 yards per game and one total touchdown over those 7 games

Yeah, plus the Jordy of 2013 does not equal the Jordy of 2017.

I have been pretty good at trading so far and very lucky in the draft the last two years. That said it's year three and this would be my first playoff appearance, so it was certainly a grind to get here.

I've been trying but it's a struggle. Lots of owners don't want to trade with me under the (not necessarily mistaken) belief they'd be handing me a championship. Others are demanding a lot. One owner is offering me DeAndre Hopkins... for Elliott, Parker, and a first-round pick. Seems steep to me. Another owner is 1-5 and has Mike Evans and Michael Thomas but isn't willing to move either.

the Palmer/Bridgewater owner also has Doug Baldwin; I would feel better about that deal if I could flip Parker for Baldwin as part of it too.

Counter and throw in a 2nd or 3rd round pick coming your way.

Who would you rather have rest of season in 10 team PPR?

Bennett
Kittle
Zach Miller
Avoid the garbage, aggressively trade bench guys (Abdullah, Snead) for a TE

I would hope you could do better in a 10 team, but of those 3, I think I would go Kittle>Bennett>Miller.
