I just can't believe they'd sit McFadden the entire time to keep.him healthy, only to make him the starter.

Kind of agree. I have way more Morris than DMC now. Somehow managed to get covered here without holding either all year. Guess injuries kept people from hoarding.

Since I stashed AlfMo on Wed waivers this week I can 100% guarantee either Zeke gets another stay or DMC starts those 6 games

I drafted DMC, dropped him, picked him back up once, and dropped him again trying to foresee the future of the Zeke mess. The last drop was yesterday, haha. I'm 10/10 in waivers because our league waiver goes by standings obv, so just snatched up AlfMo from FA. I feel pretty good that either 1) they will just timeshare and both will fantasy suck, or 2) that Zeke will appeal again to push the suspension back until next season, as I've now put in so much effort for trying to have either/both the backups on my roster.

Mostly it's just fun to try to block my buddy who is the Zeke 2nd round drafter and has been confident Zeke would play all year. The things we do for entertainment at the expense of our friends! (That's my fantasy league and main drive to even play season long leagues in a nutshell tho).

Both Zeke owners in my leagues are 1-4, so I hope he gets suspended and they get him back just in time for playoffs.

Just need to watch the trades in my redraft league, the 3 player keeper league team isn't moving him.

Why is anyone even trading for Ebron ? Isn’t there better guys on the wire ?

of course, it would just be a throw in, would be dropped otherwise in a 2 for 3.

lol

Is ASJ a must-snag from waivers if Gronk is my TE?

Probably should be owned in all PPR leagues, def worth making room for if you have an injury prone TE like Gronk or Reed

He's a borderline TE1 for ROS. So even if you don't have Gronk, there are likely 2-3 owners (in a 12T league) for whom ASJ would be an upgrade.

He'll reliably get 5-6 targets per game, and that's basically what you want from the non-top-tier TEs.

Traded McFadden & Morris (just picking up both from FA pool) for Garcon in PPR, feels like a good trade esp if Elliott gets the suspension delayed again

How bad at running is McCaffrey that they don't let him try? Can he really be worse than the others? Have to think handing him the ball also makes your play calling a bit less obvious?

But then they can't have him line up in every position. His usage feels like someone playing a video game.

McCaffrey putting up great PPR numbers and the Panthers cannot run the ball at all (besides Cam). Wait 'til he has a breakout game.

Gronk
Kelce/Ertz
Engram/Graham/Brate/Delanie

Am I being overly optimistic? The target volume he's going to see plus all the garbage time? I'd think we'd see 8/77/1 an awful lot
I think Engram is still a rookie, defenses are still coalescing, and when he's treated like a WR2... yes, that's optimistic.

Garcon just eats and they're going to cancel each other out, the goal line guy might be playable

What would you do if you owned Rudolph and ASJ? I'd like to have the roster spot but Rudolph has only one good game and I kinda need a backup TE anyway.

So the guy from the trade I mentioned in this thread (Ajayi for Fitz+Blount) decided to drop McFadden since he got 2 for 1. After the Zeke news he wants me as a commish to cancel the trade in order to redo it with him dropping somebody else. Thoughts?

I think that has to be a no.
What if he dropped McFadden and instead of Zeke being suspended he broke his elbow or something on his new gf's jaw and was ruled out at least 6 weeks with the injury. It's just bad luck but the rest of the league will be pissed if the drop is reversed.

I don't see how he can logically argue this. He's probably just being butt hurt that he got swindled in a trade and now has this bad luck.

Coaching my kid's U6 soccer team. One of the Dads tells me mid practice about the Zeke news (I have him in 2 leagues). Morris and McFadden picked up in every league I was in before I could even get to my phone.

I do have a ton of depth at RB because I loaded up in all the leagues I drafted him with the idea he was going to miss the first 7 weeks. I really don't expect much out of Morris or McFadden.

But in the end in PPR, volume is volume. Dickson is less physically gifted as a receiving tight end right now than Engram. He's getting opportunity and he's putting up some numbers. I think Engram could/should put up mid TE1 numbers even if he drops the ball 2-3 times a game.

it'll be interesting to see how defenses adjust. i dont think ive ever seen a team lose all 4 of its WRs, so teams could put their best corners on engram and take out the only real feasible option for eli to throw to. id say the giants RBs get the biggest boost in volume, but also none of them are any good at football.

I don't think the Giants will mind that many matchups where a corner wants to bump their 6'3 250 TE on the line of scrimmage. But I guess we shall see!
