Where better to turn for math/probability help for how to breakdown our SuperBowl prize pool then 2+2?

I am a favorite heading into our SuperBowl this weekend and the guy I'm playing wants to split the money up a little closer then it is set to now.

Right now, our breakdown is set as:
1st - $1660
2nd - $775
This is close to 68%/32%.

He is hoping to break it down a little more even. The poker player in me is thinking I should go with my edge and just leave it as is.

Or...and this is why I'm posting. Would you propose a creative split that takes the fact I am the favorite into account? If I had to put an exact figure on how much of a favorite I am, the figure to use that I can sell would be the one our website uses after projections. Our site has me as a 62% favorite.

If I am precisely a 62% favorite (and I know this is subjective), what would be a creative way to breakdown this prize pool and still have a few hundred to play for?

If you were a favorite, let's say a 62% favorite , would you leave the breakdown as is, or get creative and break it down differently taking into the account you are the favorite?

Thanks guys!!!

Offer him a grand, you take 1200 and play for the rest

Doubt he'd go for that split. If he wins with that split he'd get $1,235, almost the same as me if I lose ($1,200).

I think this split would be fair if I was a MUCH bigger favorite than I am.

Any other creative ideas?

Thanks!!!

there is 885 to play with, you're suggesting you're a 62% favourite, I'm suggesting you take 425 out and he takes 225 out which is chopping a chunk of the prize up 65/35 in your favour for all intents and purposes. you should obv never chop in such a way that hurts you, which this doesn't, and offering him a nice round number to get up to four figures ought to work from a psychological standpoint. if he's not going to go for that then don't bother
