Infield is trash and I lapsed badly on speed.
I would do something immediately to address your 1B/3B/CI situation. That should be your biggest source of power and you have nothing there. Some guys who might be on waivers are Pearce, Tommy Joseph,
Shaw, Gurriel, Bour, Valencia, Sandoval. All those giys are a lot more useful to you than Kepler and Souza.

Carter is simply not an option as your starting CI. Hes likely going to sit more than he starts.

Shaw is the only guy left from that list (extra inf plus bench slot plus 12 teams mean it's pretty meager). I just dropped Souza for him.

Also dropped Carter for Freddy Galvis.

Thanks for the feedback.

sorry for just dumping the draft here but i have never really done fantasy baseball before except one pro league where i stopped paying attention halfway through. i have no idea what i am doing and don't really understand the optimal strategies particularly well. this league is h2h 10 team Roster Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF, OF, OF, Util, Util, SP, SP, RP, RP, P, P, P, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL, DL
Batters Stat Categories: Runs (R), Home Runs (HR), Runs Batted In (RBI), Stolen Bases (SB), Total Bases (TB), On-base Percentage (OBP)
Pitchers Stat Categories: Wins (W), Losses (L), Saves (SV), Earned Run Average (ERA), (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched (WHIP), Strikeouts per Nine Innings (K/9

my team is
c- sanchez
1b- goldy, votto, hanley
2b- trea turner
3b- rendon/franco
ss- story
of- pollock, billy hamilton, keon broxton, kole calhoun, ozuna, carlos gomez

SP- verlander, cole, quintana, paxton, jon gray, matt shoemaker, steven matz
RP- feliz, f-rod, blake treinen

thoughts/strategy going forward? i don't really know what the optimal amount of pitchers v batters is or anything. feel free to tell me my team sucks and i have no chance. i honestly have zero clue if this team is any good. since i only have one ss/2b should i grab some guy with dual eligibilty there like jedd gyorko? he is available

Settings are a bit weird, but from looking, taking Turner, Hamilton, Pollock, Broxton, etc, you have way too much speed. Speed guys often only contribute in SB and R, and with little power they contribute little in RBI/HR, often OBP, and even less in TB (for example, Billy Hamilton had 141 TB in 119 games, a little over 1 base per game).
As for your pitching, you have a lot of solid guys, but probably for a good reason, they're likely to get Losses. Most those SP's are not on playoff caliber teams, and likely why they fell (same for your closers).
I'd look to possibly trade some speed for a power guy or some better SP's on winning teams, and keep an eye on picking up SP's on teams that you'll get the W for, or good streaming pitchers.

For those setting lineups, keep an eye on weather tomorrow. With opening series, and an off day for weather problems, they're more able to delay, and I expect DET/CWS to be PPD. Unsure of others, I often use https://rotogrinders.com/weather/mlb but is for DFS, so won't be posted until morning of, with updates during the day closer to gametime.

i usually don't consider it too much, a little with W, but with L even more so since you need (more) run support

Owings hit 2nd today, between Pollock/Goldy. Will likely move down a bit vs lefties, but a nice SS/OF to keep an eye on

If you had to cut one, it's between Neris/Dayton imo. PHI bullpen is a cluster, who knows where he'll pitch or if they'll blow it up before, but Dayton is also likely to be a 7th inning guy it seems, not 8th, so less holds spots for him potentially. Just depends whether you want more ratios or holds

thanks donk

my SPs are Kershaw, Hill, Taillon, Manaea and Kennedy

1250 IP max.

based on that, you think i need the ratio help more or can go for the saves/holds more?

I'd lean towards keeping Dayton. Not sure how deep the holds guys are taken, but Neris isn't that special. If Dayton struggles a bit, loses time, or doesn't see much hold spots, you can replace him with Neris or someone similar

yeah theres no shortage of holds guys on the wire, so i guess it's best to focus on the best ratios for now.

thanks

About damn time imo.
(Not sure if it works the same for trading DL players.)

Unfortunately does not work for NA, which is really stupid and lazy of the Yahoo team, since they treat NA tagged players exactly like they do DL players
Ok apparently it DOES work for NA.
Just something weird happened the first time I tried it and for someone reason Yahoo tried to force me drop a player. But ive been told by multiple sources that it does in fact work the same for both DL and NA, so lol me

My experience has been that it doesn't work through the app, but does through the website.
