at this point i hate the idea of drafting frazier for any reason. the projected white sox lineup is otherworldly bad and you're unlikely to get the r+rbi to make up for the awful average
plus there's the increasing probability he's getting dealt
review of your first league (assuming you're team 10):
your hitters are all over the place. i mean you start with harper and cabrera and still i have 0 confidence in your week to week average. you took frazier at 3b and the next 3 3b taken are all superior. i'd even rather have bregman. justin turner as late as he went REALLY surprises me.
anyway it seems like you're punting average, your steals aren't good enough to justify that although you're clearly strong in the other 3. your pitching is decent, you'll obviously murder in k's, your ratios look strong despite ray, your wins are pretty weak considering 4 (edit: i guess 5, royals seem like they wont be particularly great) of your starters are on cellar teams
Agreed on tanking average, also obviously like Frazier/Price more than you, which is fine. Think wins will be fine, will expect to stream a bit, but don't think I should've taken Odorizzi there, Shark likely would've been better.
Didn't really want Khris as my 3rd OF, but felt like the dropoff was too big to pass him there, and think average is so volatile in a week that I'm fine with having it slightly lower then wanted
Obviously wasn't ideal, was fine with 1st draft but didn't love it
edit: Also should've gone Marte>Miggy, had I done that would've liked the team a bit more (and not had to take Khris, would've changed things up a good amount)
I think price is fine. He got much better as the season went on and it's unlikely (although possible) his hr/fb is that high again. But I see no value in taking him as high as you did
Probably likely, was my 1st draft on Yahoo really, and wanted to guarantee an ace. If you told me Cueto/Martinez were available in the 5th, I would've been fine waiting, but didn't want to risk it (so many SP's went in 2nd, was worried people were going pitching heavy)
Sorry if this is the wrong place but I've only played fantasy baseball a couple times the last being ~10 years ago but I'd like to try to get back into it.
Are there any low stakes h2h leagues?
The rotisserie scoring always bothered me so I'd like to avoid that. I'm looking for h2h like fantasy football where there is a single winner and single loser (or tie) each week. Does this even exist? Are there formats now that don't require you to check and set your lineup everyday? Thanks for the help
Interesting take on Carrasco at 5. I completely agree though this is the year to stock up on bats early unless you're getting bum/kershaw/Scherzer. Not excited about very many of the guys from 3-18ish. Think snyderguard will be fine as well
