I'd peg him for 25-30 HR and 80 RBI in 140 games with a ~.340 OBP
Somewhere in the Pederson, Bruce, Calhoun, Choo range as a baseline, but with a bit higher upside.

If you can keep him in a late round thats still pretty valuable. But if its just keep any 5 with no penalty, Id prob be looking at other options to keep.

Schwarber was going to be Jason Hammels personal catcher this year. Doesn't mean anything for next season, but the cubs haven't entirely given up on him as a catcher yet. Who know if their plans change because of the injury though.

In terms of caliber of player, what is the most you are willing to give up with cano in a 2:1 to get Altuve?

Also Rasmus is now hitting cleanup. Time to respond accordingly

Really need to know format on this one. Altuve in 5x5 roto >> Altuve in points. Vice versa for Cano.

I love Cano this season. He had a great 2nd half last season and his hard hit rate was very high.

Definitely one of the first two. They are very close IMO.

just got offered mccutchen for story 1:1 in a 100ypl. considered countering but didn't have the balls

also dealt cano and britton for altuve + cano, gomez and perkins for altuve. then noticed this puts me at 51 leagues with altuve. not sure that's a good place to be

also upton has been dropped in 2 leagues now. my waiver priority doesn't give me a chance to get him in either, but i bring this up because he's probably a fantastic buy low right now

Tough to get him when he's my #1 most-owned player.

Yeah same here. Made offers in two league where I don't own him of Fowler 1-1 and Yelich 1-1 and they were quickly rejected. Fowler was a long shot but I thought someone panicking might go for Yelich.

I pretty much have Upton and Nicasio in every league. Am I supposed to be happy or sad about the homer? I assume the math says happy.

I think I'd go with deshields. Hazelmaker is a mirage, and Burns might lose PT to Crisp.
Crisp started last night and looked great at the plate. The broadcast team mentioned a couple times that Burns might up sitting more to get better bats in the lineup.

Assuming Mazara doesn't bust, Deshields is likely the odd man out when choochoo comes back. So I'd rank him as by far the best option for April, probably benched/sent down in May.

Stl has 6 guys for 4 spots, Piscotty, Holliday, Grichuk, Hazelbaker, Moss, Adams. Yesterday the 4 OF's all played, I wouldn't count on that going forward.

Burns situation is frustrating but he's better than coco, and coco's made of glass, and old now too. Burns should play his way into more and more PT, or just default in. I'd rank him 1st of the 3 for full season production., or at least SB;s.

thanks guys. only reason i ask really is because Burns is inexplicably losing time to CoCo already. Don't get it. I don't see any news items on those

DeShields gets special consideration because it's an OBP league and he has exceptional eyes. FYI I dug deeper and someone from ESPN was speculating when Choo comes back they'd probably keep Desmond out there and DeShields would be the odd guy out. It is supposed to be 4-6 weeks and he could play his way back into the good graces or Desmond/Mazara could bust

STL situation seems most confusing. It seems like they hate both Moss/Adams and maybe they'd go more with the configuration of Holliday@1st? Only reason I ask is because Hazelmaker has stolen bases in the minors. But there's also Pham as well who was not listed above.

I think i've talked myself into keeping burns though. Or Span was just dropped so maybe I pick him up

What is YPL? I need to get into some of those leagues. My leagues are with friends so no rake, which is nice, but no one is dumb enough to offer Cutch for Story.

STL situation isn't that confusing I don't think. Grichuk is the guy til he flames out, displacing him before then isn't happening

I assumed "pro leagues" would be full of sharks, making it difficult to beat the rake. But I've never tried anything like that.

I agree with the analysis of playing time, but I'll still take guaranteed 6 weeks of deshields now, and then figure something else out if needed at the end of June. There should be some speed on the wire all year.

Not sure I agree that Burns is better than Coco. Hes more durable for sure, but I think Coco is a much better real life hitter.
