2016 Fantasy Baseball Thread - Page 173 - Fantasy Sports -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

I need yalls help on this. I'm behind in batting stats in the finals and i'm going to need to go yolo and drop potential keepers to get Thursday at bats just for that one day.

16 keepers (keep forever), 12 teams. Which of these guys will make me ragret dropping/not keeping for next year forward the most?

(ordered by my personal opinion from "yea he's replaceable" to "you idiot you'll regret dropping him asap")

Assuming it's normal 5x5...
Don't get the love for Pineda, but SRM loves him for some reason. Think Hammel is older and more replacable/likely to deteriorate, but also most likely to get wins. I'd drop Pineda then Manaea/Hammel I think

over 10 k/9, under 3 bb/9, runs aggressively bad on balls in play and there's a decent chance he's traded

i drop hammel for reasons already cited by donk then probably pomeranz. i just don't see how he can be successful in boston \

The only argument I would offer for dropping Manaea and keeping Pomeranz is people don't really know who Manaea is/what he's doing so you may be able to get him back cheap in the draft

In a vacuum though I don't think it's close. He's now got essentially the same number of innings split between 1st half and 2nd half and his 2nd half numbers are BY FAR better (era 3 runs better, 1 k/9 more .6 bb/9 less)

For sure they will

But he still hits in Yankee stadium which is an advantage none of the other catchers have and arguably more important the DH means he's going to play more games than any catcher eligible player (barring injury)

Assuming he's 60-70% of what he is now next year if he gets 500 ABs he's still head and shoulders the top catcher
