Might be time to stash Willson Contreras.
In keeper leagues, it's probably past time, but if available go get him.
He is OPSing over 1.000 at AAA and for the second straight year is walking as much as he's striking out. Very impressive plate discipline. Power is trending up as well. I don't think Montero will hold him off much longer.

foot injury. severity will be said today i guess. either way as good as he is it doesn't seem all that likely he gets called up considering the cubs have 3 catchers on the roster, that one of them is lester's personal valet and that montero has a decent enough obp. didn't stop me from picking contreras up in a few spots just in case but still

really torn on tommy joseph. he's clearly got power, he's almost certainly taking away the 1b job from howard, he'll be hitting anywhere between 3rd and 4th behind decent obp and no power and in front of franco or behind all 3 which doesn't suck either, but man, how is it possible to trust a rookie who doesn't walk ever and already has a 20+% krate locked in ROS?

they were already being pretty proactive with Mazara, a rookie, seizing a job. i think given their playoff aspirations they will just play who is playing well
