top 100 of the milly maker, expecting to be out of the top 1000 by noon tomorrow

Got off to a great start in Milly, made 27 teams, got 2 top 1k, and 12 itm at the minute. Got a lot of brititsh players, poults, McDowell, willet. Not as much Casey as I wanted tho.
Cash lu looking interesting, only reed crashing atm:
Mick, Stenson, willett, reed, poults, smylie.
Had 400 left over but really liked reed this week especially with wind - hopefully he turns it around!
Had an awful few weeks losing a tonne even tho been close to good results; just out of money with loads cejka etc.
Gl all, a lot is down to if spieth can lockbox his putter again to take out the 10 away from leader rule or not.

Two other rosters where 6/6 above the projected cut but roster isn't above the DK cash line. No exposure to Spieth, Lowry, or Lee but similarly faded Fowler, Scott, Moore, Dufner and basically everyone who played poorly yesterday. Except Reed who is on 8 of my 10.

If DJ wants to go out and shoot 64 today that would help. Otherwise probably gonna have a bunch of min cashes for $100 total on $200 of entries.

Came in today in the top 350 and now I'm convinced I'll win a million if Jason Day can get his head out of his ass.

so not impossible for fowler to make the cut he is capable of shooting 6 under par for a round... i would take him over ryan moore to do that

Masters cut line is top-50 plus ties or anyone within 10 strokes of the leader.

Right now the cutline is projected at +4 since that's 10 strokes within Spieth but the actual top 50 is +3 (right now, could obviously change).

But given that scoring is not good but Spieth is good, my guess is the cut line will be only the top 50 and ties since I'd bet Spieth is going to be 10 strokes ahead of 50th place by the end of the day.

We'll see though since Spieth has to play in the harsher wind conditions later today so he might not run away with it.

what would be the % chances of at least min cashing if all 6 players make the cut?

The lowest salary total is 49300, over 40% used the 50000, over 20% used 49900.

Forgot to check thefantastyfanatics in the debate yesterday about spending under the limit, but I think this proves my point about uniqueness from yesterday.

This is one of my lineups in the MM -- Leishman is the lowest owned player (7.4%):

This lineup has no dupes.

My informal read is that once you get to one single player < 10% owned you will have no more than 1 dupe. Maybe some rare cases will produce more.

Even a lineup like this:

No player < 10%, but still, only 1 dupe.

So IMO people are giving up way too much if they are leaving salary on the table for uniqueness. Just try to project the low owned players (< 10%, ideally less than 5%) and simply having one of those on your roster is going a very long way to building a unique roster.

If it matters, though, if you look at some notable DFS players like SahiilSud (formerly maxdalury) alot of them seem to not spend to the max and in some cases it looks almost programmatically so (e.g., aejones has 200 bullets but no one roster > 49600).

That is interesting and suggests I'm wrong.

Most my golfers went backwards today, and Phil cost a tonne, had him in cash and he cost me 10 6/6 Milly lines. Still got 8 6/6 on going, of which 5 are unique, important players from here that aren't super owned:

4 Wiesberger 5.6%
3 DeChambeau 8.8%
3 Piercy 10.9%

Best LU potential at the minute imo, matsu, Rose, Willett, Wiesberger, DeChamebau, Stenson.

Hopefully 5/6 in cash goes alright this week...

Only got 6/6 in 2 of my line ups. Best chance for s decent cash is the line up of

Seems totally possible to have 4 rosters within the top 200. Same core (e.g. Spieth Rory) with combos of sub 6500 guys like Piercy, Weisberger, DeChambeau, Kaufman, Berger, Langer, Aphibarnrat) should all be top 200 type rosters right now.

Obviously sick run good if those are literally his only 4 rosters but lots of people take that stars and scrubs approach with the same 2 top tier guys and combos of scrubs with 10 bullets or less. In fact that's me most weeks.

Got 3 rosters out of 10 bullets in the MM with 6/6:

DJ/Matsuyama/Oosthuizen/Reed/Willet/Merritt

yesterday went pretty badly for me for the whole, think poulter managed negative points for my cash lu even?! Thought 5/6 would win double ups but seem like not, need Kaufman/Willett to get good results today hopefully.

Same team is like 5700th in the milly.

No sweats for me....other than if I can lay the total goose egg for the first time ever.

I don't know if I totally misplayed this event or if things just got crazy and the course played way harder than anyone could have predicted. Felt like I had a solid model and core but apparently not.
