Hey all, I GRIND THIS here. I'm an mtt reg on pokerstars and i've recently discovered DFS. I play solely on draftkings for now but will be branching out and trying new sites as my bankroll builds. I'm doing this challenge as a way of giving myself a shot to have DFS as another form of income, as well as to deter myself from degening heaps of money into it.

Guidelines: I will be using a safe 100 buyins at all times and will not break this rule. I will spend at least 2 hours a night I play DFS to research/set lineups/check twitter. After a slate is completed I will post my lineups and the scores along with the +/- for the day.

Sports: I will be playing NBA, NFL, and possibly MLB.

Research Tools: I use Fantasylabs, Rotogrinders, and twitter for research/updates.

Current roll = $200 Goal = $20,000

Starting tonight with NBA most likely.

My unsolicited advice: I think it would be much harder trying to do three sports, and if I were you I would focus on one, at least for awhile.

Stick to your best sport and specialize in that. Preferably a less mainstream sport.

thanks guys, wasnt able to do much tonight with dfs due to poker running late but was able to get 2 gpp lineups in to the latenight sharpshooter for the 830 and 9pm games. lets just bink these and start well lol.



leur is starting 2nite for an injured player and a sick value. the rest looks solid to me. only 2 games going.

If I didn't see the basketball in the top left, I would be wondering what sport this was, which is why I don't play DFS NBA.

LOL. thats why we use fantasylabs, rotogrinders, twitter etc. u dont have to know a sport and its players that well or at all. id say its more important to spend the time researching before that nights games, so new names are coming across the board all the time. its more important to know how to interpret the information given by the fantasy sites and my peers than knowing who the hell lou williams is.

i know what each of their floor/ceiling projections are, and how much they cost per point projected.... thats alot more than pure and outright basketball fans would know having known their names am i right?

got 4 tonight in $3 dollar GPPs. woke up late with 1 hour research and took some friendly advice from a bro. gl all.

If you want to make $ and your only resources are the free/relatively cheap internet things you mentioned, this is simply not true.

A lot of very smart people all have access to (more or less) the same information.

I would argue that someone who understands the sport in question and watches all the games has a significant advantage.

I'm not sure the best researchers on the planet could beat a obsessive Slovakian hockey fan (who watches/attends as many games as possible) at Third Division Fantasy Slovakian Hockey.

My post was not meant to discourage you from the challenge, but merely to put forward a different point of view.

When you make a bold statement such as "you don't need knowledge to win" you will get criticised. It is not really hate either, more; the people with experience are warning you against your strategy.

it is funny that when people on message boards get called out for their bull**** they immediately play the hater card. like what are we hating on? the fact that youre grinding up small stakes dfs? thatll make us like super jealous and full of hate?
