Re: wins, I think they're a good idea to add but I'm against removing saves. There were definitely multiple occasions where they dissuaded me from sitting on goalie leads. I think there's probably another stat category for forwards we can add as well to keep it an odd number.

Not to be nitty but why do I get a crappier draft pick for winning my consolation match vs Rat? Picks should be swapped IMO.

I only had NHL style in mind for the first and third place games, but reading back I see that Khaos inquired about this exact question and I didn't pick up on it.

Did you interpret my draft proposals differently, A5? I see your issue, but I don't necessarily want to go back on my word. I guess my original thinking was to prevent a top seed that loses in the first round to improve draft position, but then again it's probably more fun that way.

Conference finalists (3rd place cash match): 28th and 27th
Then division winners
Rest of the teams in the playoffs sorted by regular season points.

Eliminate the division winners since its fairly pointless in our 12 team league. Also, this makes consolation matches pointless, but really, they kind of are.

Love that Luongo is now the clear #1!!! Makes my Malkin trade before the deadline much better for me imo. Would have blown if he ended up in Florida.

So who is the consensus #2 pick just out of curiosity?

By clear #1, I was referring to being the teams #1 goalie and no more worries about splitting playing time.

Well last couple days have been crazy. Absolutely stoked for the next season!

Not sure when the season will start but I'm thinking about tentatively collecting money by September 1st and then having a month to tinker with your rosters/make trades. After that we can draft in early October right around the end of the preseason.

What do you guys think?
