Bumping this thread for the playoff run. It's been a fun season so far - lots of good teams will be battling in the last few weeks. Hopefully I don't choke in the playoffs again.

In the interest of keeping this league fun and interactive, let's have a little survey. Keep your answers to other teams and players.

IMO:

1) Matt Niskanen - Graboner Rising (HM: Clarke MacArthur - Citizen Kane / Ryan Johansen - Graz 99ers)
2) Kyle Okposo - Bay St. Bankers (HM: Ryan O' Reilly - Figjam / Torrey Krug - Habsolute Ownage)
3) P.K Subban - Eric Lindros' Brain (HM: Chris Kunitz - Peter's North Stars / Jamie Benn - Bay St. Bankers)
4) Figjam - defending champ from last season has been dominant this year and looks poised to repeat.
5) Citizen Kane - Can't emphasize enough how strong his 2012 and 2013 drafting has been. Nabbed a lot of future stars in those drafts. Unfortunately for him he can only keep 8, but I'd choose his group over anybody else's.

Thanks Patrick Roy for choosing this week to rest Varlamov. Hopefully he comes back strong next week when I'm eliminated from the playoffs!

Go figure, during the championship weeks I get ravaged by injury. Ryan and Duchene out for the year, Semin out with the flu. Can't add anybody to replace them since they're all listed as DTD.

I hate fantasy sometimes.

I think yahoo has tie breakers. I have found them in the past just googling it. On my league page it shows I finished 7th even tho we tied. What does it show for you?

dia - it looks like you lost the tiebreak and finished 8th. I tied the third place matchup last year, and I believe the tiebreaker was regular season record.

I'll also post next year's first round draft order when I get some time to sort everything out. Thanks for a great season everybody, looking forward to next year already!

I believe playoff tiebreakers (and by extension consolate brackets) are decided by the H2H record of the two teams during the regular season.

GG all, one of these years I'll actually do something in the playoffs. Going to enter some more pools next season so I can not get annoyed as much when my season goes down the tubes.

Went ahead and renewed the league last night. I tentatively scheduled the draft for the Tuesday before the season starts, so when everyone joins I'll set the keeper deadline for Sunday, October 5.

The first round draft order will be as follows, with subsequent rounds reverting to picks based upon the final standings:

Let's Getz it Goin' will move back to the 6th draft position from round two onward.

What are people's thoughts on hits as a category? I was thinking that it could be used to replace PIM or SHG. PIM are more of a negative to a team than a positive, and shorthanded goals happen so rarely that it's tough to draft for. For adding some depth to the draft, hits do a much better job of adding viable bottom 6 roster guys compared to the crapshoot that is shorties.

I personally don't like it as it's somewhat of a crapshoot as well given every arena scores hits differently. My vote is to keep it as is.

I am in but am guessing that the invite went to Punkster. I'll PM him to ensure that he still wants in. We'll just have to figure out the money thing.
