I'm thinking what could be somewhat of a twist to keep eliminated owners interested is to allow them, during a waiver run, to try to claim a player at the existing auction value (or plus some optional amount if an owner feels a bid war might happen) - maybe if it's a twelve teamer, letting the first four out keep three overall, the next four two and the last four one (final two teams just picking someone from their end sides?). Said player then gets allocated to the eliminated team and is out of use for the remainder of this season. Interesting extra level, or ******ed? Do we snap up players like Guice, McKinnon, Eifert, Jimmy G now who won't be on active rosters, do we do similar with the likes of Lamar Jackson (or a couple of weeks earlier, Chubb) as pre-emptive pickups, or do we wait to shoot our load later in the season when more and more talented players end up on waivers?

I don't think that would be as fun. The best part about this league, IMO, is stacking your team along the way with the best players. The bidding strategy easy week is interesting to me, and adding in a team that will win a player that isn't played just doesn't give any extra allure, and makes it less fun. I'm very interested to see what the final 4 teams look like.

Yes, very tough. I debated with myself for a while how much to put in on Mixon given I have Barkley on bye this week too, so needed help this week. In the end decided it was worth the gamble as if I can make it through this week I feel confident about the next few.

I'm surprised i got Alshon, i didn't really expect to win any of my bids this week. I have him as around a high end WR2 so getting him for under $10 seems like a steal. But maybe his stats will take a hit with the addition of Tate to the Eagles offense.

Really like New Team Who Dis spending almost the entirety of their remaining FAAB to get Melvin Gordon - they're the worst team left as far as points scored, but now all of a sudden with the addition of Gordon and Kupp coming back from an injury their team looks really good
