Hey guys,

I run a yahoo league and had a situation occur last night has one person upset.

Before the Thursday game last night (MINN v LAR) I move the Minn D from ym d/st spot to my bench. Then, during the game, I pick up GB's D and drop Minn D. I am the commissioner but I didn't use any commish tools I just did the standard add player screen - apparently per the thread below this is allowed for Thursday games on Yahoo.

One league member's contention is it isn't like this in other leagues and is threatening to quit. I don't think any big edge is being gained here and everyone can do it. Curious to hear other people's thoughts/experiences.

What you did is fine.

I do more marginal stuff when a bench spot is open.

Example, pick up back-up RB for Gurley before Thursday game and cut him after the game if Gurley finishes the game healthy kind of stuff.

Yahoo is stupid for not locking players when their game starts like ESPN.

But if its set up that way for everybody, and you made the move as a team owner, then not much you can do about it.

If it's a friendly league, I'd say that it warrants a conversation but all votes need to be unanimous and the rules set from that conversation are set in stone.

If it's competitive, tough beans for the other guy. As long as you're not abusing it and blocking others, it's fair game.
