No I made the bets before the season started. It will be paid off very soon. Will have an update this week. By the time I knew about the money I was already crushed in the sidebets and didn't know what to do cause who would want to change bets when they are almost a lock to win

Also does anyone know what M and T bank is? Finally heard from 2nd place in the 1500. He plays on bovada and has M and T bank. Trying to figure how to get the escrow to pay him. Klink said he can't send a check

Would this person have cleaned out the account if you had escrowed the "big league"? Easy to say "I don't think so" but be honest.

Most of the money for the big league would have went through my boa so it wouldn't have happened.

This person is in my immediate family and I'm gonna go divulge anything else about them.

And I don't remember when I found out. As for the money I don't have the exact total I just know how much I had to pay out

Even if the account is not in your name, why in the world would you allow anyone else besides yourself to have access?
Why didnt you change the email preferences, change the password, etc?
I know that you know its the first thing that shouldve been done when handling large sums of other peoples money.

Something just does not add up. I dont want to speculate, but I can't help but think that a family member stealing money would be a very convenient way to payback (or get extensions/payment plan for) prop bet and gambling losses.

It would be easier to clear your name if you took screen shots of your Paypal history page so everyone can see exactly when money was received, and when it went 'missing'.

Hey guys, just noticed these posts. I'm trusting wesrwood that he will get the other 2k to me. I can confirm that he's already sent the 1k and seems to be making his best efforts to get it paid. I've never done a league through here, but chose his league because, after some research, it looked like he holds a good track record with well-run leagues and timely payments. I'm sure you all know him better than me, but I'm willing to give him a break (I'm a softy) if something unforseen happened that caused the payments to be delayed a little bit.

The season previous to this Werswood made his way into the fantasy football thread in mttc. He tried to throw his name itt as a potential commish for an addittional league once the first league was filled. When we were discussing who should escrow(everyone wanted randall or someone else reputable) he also threw his name in the hat and i remember it seeming weird. Usually people never want to escrow, so his insistence on this struck me as a bit off. When I said he was being suspicious he really went out of his way to defend his actions and got pretty butt hurt . I can't remember who it was (maybe Kramer or Boiler BD?Some guy I don't know but recognized their names from previously run ZBT leagues) and we sent each other PMs saying there's absolutely no way Werswood should escrow no matter what. He had this weird excuse that he liked to use ESPN and not Yahoo, but all commishs like yahoo and that's why he wanted to be commish/escrow. Whatever the exact details were I did not feel comfortable with him holding my money.

This is kind of a tough spot as I wanted to say something but you can't drag a guys name through the mud when he hasn't done anything wrong. It was just my hunch.

I've never been on Druffs site, I'm just a lurker here who bumped into this thread looking for SB squares so I have no axe to grind. Also a huge LOL at the paypal excuse. This guy should never hold money for anything imo.

If something seems shady at first glance, it probably is.

Werswood, why cant post screen shots of your Paypal history? Would go at least a little ways towards clearing your name by giving us a clear timeline of this mess.

I'm absolutely shocked how little flak wesrwood has taken for this abortion. If I was in this league or even the other league he was basically forced not to escrow I would be pissed to find out this happened. He actually threatened lawsuits against those "scumbags" questioning his suitability to escrow then he "lets" this happen. Obviously they were right all along.

Why is this not a separate thread & has been lumped into a thread where the first page is everyone coming in praising wesrwood for paying fast? I believe this was done purposely to try to bury it.
Believe me, if wesrwood tries to run a league & escrow next year I'll personally be all over it. He will never escrow again if I can help it & others should feel the same way.

So you can't take a screen shot because the account isn't yours? Yet you stated that it was a running joke for 4 years that you had been using an account with a girls name on it in the wrestling forum(?) or whatever. So you had full access for 4 years and then once you spend the fantasy money you magically can't get access to it anymore. This story is about as believable as the guy with 3 teeth asking me for $27 to get to the VA hospital.

I feel bad for not saying something a long time ago but idk what the protocol is/should be for spots like this. If somebody hasn't done anything wrong but you suspect they are up to no good should you say something? I wouldn't want someone just throwing my name out there because of a "hunch" but after reading the Complete Donk thread it seems like something needs to change. CD was able to scam tens of thousands because nobody outed him or warned anyone about his sketchy behavior.
