Pick up Conner, Kelly, Ware, Riddick and either Yeldon or Ekeler.

First draft after a few years. Picked 2nd in a 12 team standard league. Was happy with my first few picks but in the end I ran out of gas and had the feeling I was just clicking buttons because there was nothing decent left:

Bell

J. Howard

Tyreek

Lamar Miller

C. Hogan

Cousins

Kerryon Johnson

Crabtree

J. Doyle (way too soon and desperation after all the ok TE's got drafted)

Luck

O.J. Howard

Lockett

Bears D

Anthony Miller

Prater

Also 2 QBs and 2 bad TE's felt kinda meh too but nothing else really looked interesting...

Any hope for rescuing this terrible RB situation? 1st time FF drafter, here.
Drop Bellore for Jack or Mack?
Added rb's Riddick, Conner and for my defender Mack
Dropped: Mckinnon, Panthers and Bellore (yes, drafted as my defender, oops)

Thinking of also adding Ekeler, John Kelly, Ware, Yeldon or Blount (potential TD's)

I think you crushed this. I go with Devonta there, just cause of how the RBs start declining alot by the time your next pick came around.

The Ertz pick seems fine to me.

A bit nervous about Cobb b/c of Davante and J. Graham getting most of the work + they tried to trade him. You can hold him, or potentially go with another sleeper, maybe at a diff position since you have 7 WRs.

I'm team 6.
Collins in rd 4 was definitely my most uncomfortable pick of the draft. Was not sure between him, Landry, Drake, and Miller. Who would you have taken there?

I like Miller, but Drake and Landry aren't bad options either. Would've considered Baldwin, Freeman and JuJu as well. I like all of those guys more than Collins there in full PPR.

Nice job though, you should be set up real nice for a good season.

Great draft for team 6 - max value every round.
I probably like Collins more than most so I dont mind him in the 4th. You should have plenty of surplus value with those later picks to upgrade your roster via trade

My most important draft. 12 team standard, qb/2rb/2wr/flex, I feel I completely f'ed up lol. How can I fix this and who do I drop to pick up a K and DEF.
I'm team 9 btw.

I mean, I def go Diggs over Mixon (though that isn't too bad), and the Collins pick is just wtf terrible (hopefully this league likes to trade), but other than that it doesn't look too bad, Fuller a little early for my tastes but that Lockett/Stills/Cole run late is real nice.

I'd be looking to move one of Mixon or Collins with one of Hogan or Cooks for a WR1 if possible at some point, though it's usually pretty tough to trade before the season starts. Target team 5, make an offer for Allen.

Blount and Allison both easy drops there.

Had my biggest league tonight. Punted RB so obviously need to work the waiver wire/hope one of my late targets hit. Obvious weak spot is RB but it's a very competitive 12-teamer with 1 keeper at the round you drafted him at each year. Love my WR and got value at TE and QB I thought. It's start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 2 Flex, D/ST. 0.5ppr. 5th pick

QB - Drew Brees (11)

RB - Alex Collins (2), Adrian Peterson (7), Nick Chubb (9), Ronald Jones III (10), Lagarette Blount (12), D'Onta Foreman (13), Kenneth Dixon (14), Jeremy Hill (15)

WR - Odell Beckham Jr. (1), DeAndre Hopkins (3-Keeper), Allen Robinson (4), Marquise Goodwin (5), Emmanuel Sanders (6)

TE- Jimmy Graham (8), Hunter Henry (16)

I'm never taking Brady, I'm always going RB there. You can get someone like Stafford or Rivers later on and feel fine about it. I'm not a huge fan of Cohen either. Reports of Howard getting 3 down work so I'm not really sure how much usage he gets. They've been saying he gets some out of the slot but idk how much of a role that's going to be with Robison/Gabriel/Miller there. I think you reached on Olson he was pretty ineffective last year after he came back but Norv could be good for him so might not be terrible. Would have rather taken a RB there too and waited until 80 and hope that someone in that giant tier after the top 3 falls. I think Williams and Tevin were really really good picks though so that bailed you out a bit. Waiting on RB is super risky in a 14 teamer this year imo. Team ended up looking decent, immediate flex issues because you went Brady/Olson so early instead of a RB but if one of your later picks binks and you avoid injury it should be fine. Doing it this way just puts a looooot on Drake breaking out this year and if you took a RB at 52 instead I think it mitigates some of that risk.

Looks pretty good. I'm lower on Collins than most so if you wanted to go WR heavy then seems like Tyreek or Thielen would have been the pick there but if you really like him then nothing wrong with that. Sanders and Jimmy both great value and Brees in the 11th is fantastic. If Robinson gets anywhere close to form it will be an evil team to deal with. Just got to find that solid PPR RB2

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not huge on Collins but with my keeper being in the 3rd round I needed to lock down 1 legit starting running back.

It was wishful thinking to think Mixon or Howard would drop but RB were flying off the board. This is also why there were so many receivers left. One guy I was targeting that went way earlier than I expected was Ekeler.

I just need to hope Chubb or Jones can win their jobs sooner rather than later and that AP gets enough volume until they do.

Feels like you took the 0 RB strategy way too far here. If you're going to take advantage of the value at WR at the top end of the draft you simply have to hammer RB over the next few rounds to get the guys who have a real path to RB1/RB2 production, especially with the incredible depth at WR this year. If AP pans out and Collins lives up to expectation you should be okay for a little while but I'd be looking to make moves early if possible. I don't think any of your remaining RBs have much hope of carving out significant roles in their respective offenses anytime soon.

Yea, I just underestimated how fast RBs were going/wasn't willing to pay the price they were going at. The only thing I think I could have done in hindsight is take Carlos Hyde in the 5th to at least get a starting RB2 and then been happy with Goodwin or Sanders in the 6th. I really love Goodwin this year and don't have many shares of him so wanted to get him.

Guys I targeted like Crowell, Powell, Ekeler and Mack all just went way sooner than I expected them to.

I may offer ARob up in a trade for someone like Jamaal Williams

I like it up until the Goodwin pick. I love Goodwin this year, but I think your team would have been much stronger going RB there. Im probably taking Coleman or Burkhead, but of course there was no way to know that 8 RBs would go off the board in the next 14 picks before your turn.
Following that up with the Sanders pick is just overkill at WR when your RB situation was so weak imo, especially since you can only start 4 of those receivers.

Its going to be a strong team either way, but if you can find a solid RB on the wire it should be really good.

Did 2 YPLs
10 Teams QB/2 RB/2 WR/Flex/TE/DEF/K 6 bench
1/2 point ppr

Both from the 4 hole. I thought they went okay but not great. Yahoo draft grader has them both in last place yet they are both favored in week one?

1. Ezekiel Elliott (Dal - RB) The chalk here although not sure about Dal O-line
2. Davante Adams (GB - WR) okay I think
3. Tyreek Hill (KC - WR) likely a stretch but I wanted at least one share of this guy
4. Lamar Miller (Hou - RB) I got Miller everywhere and hope he doesn't suck
5. Royce Freeman (Den - RB) I like RB depth
6. Marquise Goodwin (SF - WR) like the bromance with Grap
7. Dion Lewis (Ten - RB) More RB depth is what I seek
8. Kyle Rudolph (Min - TE) TEs starting to fall and he should be a good part of that O
9. Sony Michel (NE - RB) I hate NE RBs but figured I would take a shot
10. Cooper Kupp (LAR - WR) okay WR in good O gets a lot of redzone work
11. Tarik Cohen (Chi - RB) If Nagy really carves out a role for him could be interesting
12. Kenny Stills (Mia - WR) okay?
13. Ben Roethlisberger (Pit - QB) Waited and then waited longer for QB
14. Baltimore (Bal - DEF) Great week one matchup
15. Wil Lutz (NO - K) Good offensive team in a dome

Again form the 4 hole

1. Antonio Brown (Pit - WR) Didn't want Zeke again and figured I could get acceptable RBs in next 2 rounds
2. Dalvin Cook (Min - RB)
3. Jordan Howard (Chi - RB) I am fine with Cook and Howard
4. Golden Tate (Det - WR) meh nobody I really liked/wanted at this spot
5. Lamar Miller (Hou - RB) More Miller don't suck!
6. Marquise Goodwin (SF - WR) More Goodwin yahoo hates this pick
7. Trey Burton (Chi - TE) I buy the breakout hype
8. Michael Crabtree (Bal - WR) meh
9. Tevin Coleman (Atl - RB) decent RB depth play
10. Duke Johnson Jr. (Cle - RB) catch LOTS of balls!
11. Matt Ryan (Atl - QB) waited again
12. Nelson Agholor (Phi - WR) okay I think
13. New Orleans (NO - DEF) nice week one matchup
14. James White (NE - RB) catch lots of balls!
15. Harrison Butker (KC - K) kicker

I think both teams should be competitive even though Yahoo gives C- to both and projects both in last place. I probably should have taken a few flyers but there are tons of flyers on the board.
