I just want to mention that LK has gone 4 weeks in a row without setting his lineup and leaving players on bye weeks active while there are players on his bench that had games.

This is the situation where an owner should get penalized and there can be no dispute or counter argue saying he doesn't have the players. Can Dan or Hurp look into this situation and enforce a penalty.

His team wouldn't be winning anyway, which is what makes it different from what you were doing, which was blatantly sitting the players that gave you the highest chance of winning.

1) neglect - which we have rules f*r
2) n*t filling a full r*ster - we really d* need a rule here, relatively straightf*rward
3) n*t filling an *ptimal r*ster - we sh*uld have s*mething but n* idea h*w we W*rd it

Why don't we just switch to a lottery system? Would really decrease the incentive to tank. Also in football instead of just giving the team that wins the consolation bracket (Who already likely has a good team) the first pick, we could just give them the most lottery balls.

im fine with whatever weighted thing we wanna do (more lotto balls to conso winner sounds fine*), but really do think we need something as simple as "you need to field a lineup of active players" at a minimum. we have such deep benches it shouldnt be a problem at all

*i think we wanna keep something for the conso bracket winner if we're gonna keep just 4 teams in the playoffs.

Just don't think it's that fair to simply give the top overall rookie to one of the mid tier teams instead of the lower tier teams who could use talent much more. This way it gives incentive to the mid tier teams to try the whole way through still by giving the winner of the conso bracket the most lotto balls but gives the lower level teams a chance to get top pick still. Think it's the best of both worlds.

yeah pretty sure thats not relevant. from what i remember, the kind of thing that is relevant would be if someone plays a rookie and then trades him, the receiving team has the option to put him in AAA, which we've had in place.

dont think a FA added/dropped has ever mattered
