I looked at my phone to check other stuff and BOOM my drop was successful.

I really didn't mean to drop him but I guess I have a player coming off the DL so I had to drop someone.

I sure as hell wasn't trying to straight up drop a player owned in 97% of yahoo leagues.

Please give me Dee Gordon back. I hate making this post.

I don't have a problem with it. I wouldn't use the app though. Its horrible and makes accidental drops way too easy. Just bookmark your team page.


On another note...
Cmon guys, at least make some nominal effort to reach the innings limit, and to get hitters in your lineup who are actually active. There's really no excuse for having multiple players in your lineup for an entire matchup, who have been on the DL for weeks.

Yeah this is getting ridiculous. It hasn't been an issue in this league before this year that I can remember.

I've only noticed the one person, but to still have an injured guy in your lineup who has been out for all of June is unacceptable

To forever memorialize Shane Bieber's outstanding performance yesterday, I have changed my team name to Leave It To Bieber.

My team may suck but at least I have the best team name in the league.

I agree this is an issue and needs to be fixed. The problem, however, is how to fix it.

Tanking in keeper/dynasty leagues is not as complicated in roto, but in h2h there has to be rules. For example if a last place team has 5 injured players starting one week, and then a month later decides to edit his lineup that is very unfair to the team that has to play the full lineup when others had an essential bye week.

Yeah I’m always open to anti tanking rules, but I don’t know many. Maybe like monetary penalties? I can also be more diligent, I just started 2 new jobs a month ago so I honestly have been as active as I normally want to be

I don't know what the solution is. Best suggestion would be last place pays double, but I don't know. Woba fett has 15 IP this week and started 6 guys on DL all week. Buxton has been out since 5/30 and is still in his lineup.

Now I'm worried about the time frame of this getting fixed because I play him week after next and his last 3 opponents have basically gotten a bye.

Ya he hasn't even reached the innings minimum in like a month so thats 6 automatic category wins for whoever he plays right off the bat.
I'm sure he'll fix it just in time to play me lol.

And I don't even think it's a matter of tanking to be honest
I feel like its more just being in last place and not giving a ****. He hasn't had any lineup changes or any league activity at all since May 21. That's over a month of not even checking the team. Guys who are actively trying to tank at least scour the waiver wire for hidden gold and try to accumulate extra picks.

To make matters even worse, he has the most FAAB $$ in the league, yet hasn't even attempted to bid on possible big time keepers like Soto, Meadows, etc. And obv no trades to improve his keeper standings/draft pick status.

Might be time to just bring someone else in to take over the team.

Any thoughts on replacing the inactive owners midseason? Hate to bring this up, as this has never been an issue in this league. That being said it's very annoying to see 2 people essentially getting a 10-2+ bye every week. At the very least I think the new owner needs to go. GtBM muckface or whatever his name is
