I’ve decided to try to organize a few higher stakes leagues, as I see there’s already some action at the $50/$100 level. I will be running 3 $300 leagues and 3 $500 leagues:

Please let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. I am unsure how much interest there will be at these stakes, so I will hold off on collecting funds for a week just to assess the level of interest. Depending where we are at, I may have to reach out elsewhere. If this is the case money will have to be collected on LeagueSafe. If there is enough interest within the 2+2 community, I will hold the funds on Paypal. Although I have not been a commissioner in past years, I am confident the FF community can vouch for my integrity. If there is still concern, we can find an escrow to hold the funds.

Interested in the 3’s. Anyway to add another flex(WR/RB) instead of kicker, or is that in stone?

I'm pretty flexible, wasn't sure if I should remove remove the kicker but decided to just leave it in. If majority wants K gone, that is no problem. As far as starting rosters, I wanted each league to have a different feel and give players options to experiment with different strategies. Do you prefer adding another flex to all 3 variants, or are you strictly referring to 1 QB (6 pt passing TD, -2 for INT) / 2 WR / 2 RB / 1 TE / 1 FLEX (WR/RB/TE) / K / DEF set up? I don't want to mess with rosters for the other 2 formats as I think they are great as is.

I will start an interest list, please let me know if I misinterpreted your stated interests.

Here's what I found:

At this time LeagueSafe can only accept credit cards from banks that meet our security standards. Nearly all card companies in the United States are accepted.

Most banks in Canada also participate in something called Account Verification Services, which is a crucial fraud prevention measure that we require banks and card companies to participate in order to accept payments. Bottom line, if your bank is in Canada or the United Kingdom, chances are that you will have no issue making a payment to LeagueSafe with your credit card.

Members from Canada are required to make their payments using a credit card. E-checks are not an accepted payment method outside the US.

Members outside of the US or Canada cannot make direct payments to LeagueSafe at this time.

However, transaction via credit card require a 4% convenience fee.
Hint: If you play games on one of our other fantasy sports products (Fanball, CDM Sports or NFFC/NFBC) you do not pay fees for deposit or withdrawal on LeagueSafe.

Doesn't seem great for you. I made a mock league on there to see if I could pay multiple buy ins and just have you paypal me or something, but that doesn't seem to be a feature. Would appreciate insights from gbmantis. I'll do a more intensive review when I get back home tonight.

In for the 300s, will let you know about the 500s but almost definitely wont play the one on Sep 2.

As far as fees, i have never had an issue with any 2+2 league and would prefer not to pay league safe "rake" if we can get reliable escrows or enough guys vouch for the OP

I believe we played together last year in a $500 PPR league organized on 2p2, my FF name is Team Anal Spew. Regardless, your tag definitely looks familiar haha. I've moved forward by contacting precept in the hopes that he can put in a good word for me. I don't think sir rawrs a lot visits much anymore, but I participated in his leagues as well back when he ran them (most recently 2 years ago?).

Out for the second $300 league with draft on August 21. I’m in US so no issues with leaguesafe I also remember you from last year I was Rabid Wombats. I have had pay pal issues in the past but I’m currently operating under a “business” account. I’ve run leagues for years and bracket tournaments, and haven’t had a problem since changing the account type. Also, I’ve never had an issue with Venmo ever fwiw.

More importantly, I vote “yea” for getting rid or nerfing kickers.

I have played with both of you for at least a few years at this point and have ran many leagues on 2+2 obviously without incident. I believe my reputation to be beyond reproach on here and for those that havent played with me, I am happy to provide references to the fact. If you are looking for a escrow for funds, I am ok with doing this so that we avoid the fees of LeagueSafe.

I personnally kind of like the idea of leaguesafe since we are talking a pretty large amount in buy-ins. I could potentially be convinced otherwise if you can get hard vouches and provide different options of payment (I cant take paypal). I will wait for others to see what everyone thinks.

Out for the august 25th draft but looks like i should be in for all others
