Hi all,

A lot of talk about breaking this forum into two forums, one for season-long fantasy sports and one for daily fantasy sports. They would be moved to the main forum list and out of the current subforum of SE structure.

Thoughts on this? Thoughts on potential mods? Thoughts on the election? Guns? Kyrie Lolirving? Want to laugh at the Fan Duel sub-subforum? Post it here.

I think that's a pretty good idea. DFS and season long are very different.

i dont think its necessary. theres not much traffic here either way and theres only one dfs thread for each sport.

I think it's still important because there are people that get confused everyday trying to find threads. DFS is growing and getting huge as well.

Not sure what mod holds the record for most permabans in a 24 hour period. Because wes would destroy it.

I think it would be a good idea, fwiw. Two separate forums as they are very different and from what can see have different regs. Would also help with the confusion. Feel like once a week somebody starts a new thread asking DFS questions and has to be directed to the threads.

Feels like DFS could have more than one thread per sport if broken out.

I am a co-founder of Fanday.com, and received an email about some negative posts on 2plus2 about us; I created an account to respond.

I want to apologize for any spam on here and assure you it was not done my a member of our team. We created our site to be clean and not throw "spam"/unwanted garbage in our user's faces. I am going to try to put an end to the issue you are referring to.

Our site is new and we want it to spread...but we want to do it the right way; by providing a great product. We are dedicated to creating our site around the wants of DFS players like the ones on 2plus2.

Yeah, participation in these threads is exploding. Could probably use a lineup questions, sweat/bbv, and general strat/industry threads for each sport in the near future.

As fas as DFS mods really any of the high volume regs willing to do the job would be fine, as long as it not some turd like Ned (not that any current posters are anywhere near as turd-like), imo.

a dfs noob thread would be great or an overall strategy being separated from low content brags and beats. i still don't really understand the strategy and would like to learn more but the single threads are difficult to navigate and i don't wanna be that guy constantly repeating questions because it was asked elsewhere and i couldn't find it.

Seriously if you guys need a mod and I can do it from the app I'm in. If I have to be on a computer I can't do it

I agree here. A n00b thread for season long FS would also be a good idea.

Any other mod recommendations? We definitely need a regular or two who is around but also is willing to listen to feedback and keep the modding to a minimum (deleting spam, keeping conversation civil.)

Would the mod be for fantasy sports and dfs. Think fantasy sports need more mods

Yeah, obv. The one thing that has stood out to me is there seems to be a lot of spamming for DFS sites. Thankfully FS seems to be a somewhat friendly place and there hasn't been a whole lot of uncivil conversations.

Me and sirrawrs can be tag team mods. Like step brothers. He will be the one that lets out an awful fart that eventually leads to our demise

Looking at the 'who posted' in the NFL DFS thread I see as lot of MLB DFS regs at the top. Cohiba, Prip, TJ, Hurp Derp, CharlieKelley, they post a lot and they all play DFS and are all pretty chill.

You should definitely
Have diverse mods. Make sure we have all the sports covered so all the threads are checking on a regular basis
