Is there a trades thread or should I just ask questions here?

Most of the trade questions seem to end up in the general thread. I'm not sure it's an actual rule, but that's where I see most of them.

One flex in 1PPR:

Baldwin vLAC
Sutton vHOU
Tre'Quan Smith vLAR
Ridley @WAS

Let Sutton fly?

Still 1PPR, need a TE:

Graham @NE
Howard @CAR

Feels like Howard.

I'd probably rank it Baldwin > Ridley > Sutton >> Smith. I also own Sutton (and will start him this week due to 4 players on BYE) but I am tempering my expectations. He still has Keenum, who has 3 games with 0 pass TDs and 2 games with <200 pass yards and will be the second look behind Sanders. I think he's a WR3 with WR2 upside due to RZ usage and overall in a similar spot to most of the other guys you have.

I'd also lean Howard for the second.

I’m in a league with only 4 bench spots and I have a bunch of byes and need to drop someone to pickup a defense.

My only real options are to drop either Golden Tate or Leonard Fournette.

Half ppr, Two RBs three WR league, no flex (actually super flex so 2 QBs)

My other RBs are James White, Adrian Peterson and Chris Carson

My other WRs are DeAndre Hopkins, Mike Evans, Tyler Boyd and Courtland Sutton. Both Hopkins and Sutton are on a bye next week so if I drop Tate I’ll also have to drop someone else next week to grab a third WR - probably Sutton or Fournette.

If Tate was still a Lion I’d lean towards dropping Fournette and playing Tate next week. But after the trade I feel like there’s enough uncertainty with Tate that it might be ok to drop him and stream a WR week 10. Thoughts?

A lot of this depends on the chances that Fournette gets back to being clearly better than Peterson or Carson at some point this year. Seems unlikely to me

Who is your defense that you are not willing to drop?

Could easily have dumped a defense on bye this week to pick up a position player and then refill later

I currently have no defense as I dropped them this week to pick up Sutton. My hope was that Fournette would be listed as “out” again at some point this week which would allow me to IR him and gain another roster spot, but it looks like that’s not going to happen (especially because the Jags have a bye this week)

Also I just realized that if I drop Tate, I won’t have to drop Sutton/Fournette next week to stream a WR as I’ll be able to drop the TE I’m streaming this week once Ertz’s bye is over.

I think I’m dropping Tate now. I’ll probably drop Fournette too the next time I need a FA unless he gets good fast

Thanks, that's a good point about Keenum. Baldwin limited again due to his knee not making this one any easier.

What are people doing with Oakland D tonight if Beathard doesn't play? Are they still too terrible to start against a 3rd stringer?

My other option is MIA vNYJ.

1.25 PPR

pick 1 TE:

Olsen vs TB
Gronk vs GB

Pick 1 RB:

Collins vs PIT
Richard @ SF
Duke vs KC

^I'd go Olsen (matchup + Gronk uncertainty) and probably Collins.

Need 1 TE, 1 RB, 1 flex out of this group:

OJ Howard @ CAR
Burton @ BUF
Ito Smith @ WAS
D Henry @ DAL
Tre'quan vs LAR

Currently have Howard/Ito with Burton at the flex, but don't feel great about it.

I think that's correct. Kinda yucky, but correct.

If Beathard doesn't play tonight vs OAK, should I bench Kittle for Njoku vs KC instead?

I wouldn't, all their backs are held together by gaffer tape so quick dump offs to the tight end could be in the plan

I have Denver and NYJ in one league and am not particularly keen to drop either of them given their playoff schedules. I would add Washington to this list but currently have no shares of them.

+1 to Olsen and Collins

I'd go with Howard, Smith and Tre'Quan. both backs have bad matchups on the road but Smith is in a much better offense.

2qb league, 6 pt TDs, -3 TOs and -1 sacks.

I need 2 QBs, a WR3 and a TE.

I almost always go with the best player (as you should ofc) but some stacks/matchups make this a little interesting.

Trubes/Burton @ Buf
Stafford/Golladay @ Min
A Smith vs Atl
Kupp @ NO
Hooper @ Was

Currently have:

Trubes
Smith
Kupp
Burton

I'm definitely starting Mitch but @ Buf is tough and gameflow may severely limit Burton. Hooper's matchup is tough too, but going with him limits my exposure to a 16-6 Bears win.

Stafford struggles vs Zimmer on the road and they're run-first. So is Wash of course, and sadly Alex Smith immediately resumed being Alex Smith this year. However, they have a superior matchup at home.

Strong lean to Kupp but if you think they're gonna ease him in and Golladay is going to eat, he's an option.

Gronk spot in PPR league pick up either Herndon (@ Dolphins) or Thomas (@ Broncos) and start them regardless, or wait for game time and grab best available option (probably Jonnu Smith @ Cowboys) if Gronk can't go?
