He was my #1 QB in this draft but offensive play calling and schemes can affect QB production so much......I wanted to buy in before he pops. Dan doesn't value QBs as much as I do. He's probably right.

Cooper is kind of garbage. I'd say around Jeffery level. Maybe a little better. I think the trade doesn't affect your overall team value very much. Maybe slight improvement. The reason I don't like the trade is because I think you could do better. Russ should be able to get you a little more value than that.

Another way to go would be to try to trade Mahomes for a megaelite WR (e.g. M. Thomas - might require some other players to make the whole thing work) and roll w/ Russell.

But I still like trying to move Russell. Maybe you could move Russell + Hilton for an WR upgrade.

I own Ridley in two of my leagues, but I'd be taking advantage of anyone who is trying to "sell high". Dude can change direction in freakish ways. Look at what's happening with Fuller vs Hopkins/JuJu vs Brown/Boyd vs Green etc...Julio is Ridleys best friend. It just took Ryan a few games to get used to him.

I don't own either, but thought it was very interesting the saints took Lattimore off Julio to have him shadow Ridley late in the 2nd half.

Wish I had some Ridley shares, but the price has to be absurdly high ATM

Seems petty fair, depends on roster. If Lockett is my WR5 I don't do it but if I'm deeper than that I like it because we kind of know Lockett's ceiling now but Baker is unknown. Could have top 5 upside but could also be on the WW by next draft.

TLDR; Ignore the top half of the post since that is just about the waiver period. Really need advice on two separate potential trade proposals in the second half of the post.

I'm in an 8 man PPR league without kickers. 6 out of 8 teams make the playoffs. Had the #2 waiver claim. I hadn't picked anyone up until the free agent period so far this season. This week I decided to go for it.

I picked up Woods with the first claim, Ridley with the second, and Johnson with the third. I picked up Seattle and Carson once the free agent period began.

I want to trade for Bell since I have Conner, and I want to trade for Gronk

i'm not exactly sure what he's doing with his team, but his RBs are weak and so are his WRs after Green and JuJu. Since 6/8 make the playoffs, I'm definitely in championship building mode all season (and I usually am, but definitely so with 75% making it).

What is fair for Bell? Diggs and Mixon? Is that too much? Mixon and McCoy? Keenan for Bell straight up? Adams for Bell straight up? I really don't want to offer too much, but I want him to feel like he's upgrading his team.

What is fair for Gronk? He needs RB help. He also has Rudolph, so trading Gronk shouldn't hurt too much. DJ straight up? Is that enough? Could I offer DJ plus Sanders? Is that too much?

Mixon and Diggs is way too much. I think if you're gonna do that, add more to his side. Le'Veon may not play at all, you gotta reflect that risk.

For Gronk, do Kerryon Johnson + a good wideout. The roster spot is interesting for you too.

You really don't think Le'Veon will play at all? I thought he had to sign and play by at least week 11 (end of week 10) to avoid going through all of this next season.

Maybe I can offer DJ straight up. I'm willing to take that risk with Conner plus Mixon coming back. It's a 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 flex league, but I'm pretty much always starting 4 WRs.

I might try Kerryon plus Diggs for Gronk.

If I was the Bell owner, I would snap any of those offers. I've been getting offers like Breida + Marvin Jones for my Bell. Any smart Bell owner should be happy to take a second round value straight up, I think.

I'd also be surprised if a Gronk owner moved him in an 8 teamer. I wouldn't.

I'd be targetting the guys who drafted Devonta Freeman or Dalvin Cook, for instance.

I think I might offer Diggs to the Bell owner and see if he takes it. If he denies, I'll throw McCoy in and see what happens.
