#2 on waiver, 2QB (and 6pt passing TD) league. All QBs with starting jobs are owned except Beathard who is on waivers. #3 and #4 waiver are having some awful QB issues.

2QB league and already two teams can't fill a complete lineup with only 2 teams on bye?

With starting QBs at a premium I think you have to claim Beathard and then explore trading or keeping.

What is better:

3. Picking up Beatherd myself (would drop one of John Ross, Ware, or Doug Martin)

My QBs are Fitz, Wentz, and Goff, so no bye overlap there, but if Wentz or Fitz get hurt i'll be hurting cuz their backup is owned.

The more I think about it the more I think it's the correct play to pick him up and either try to trade him but if I don't get a good offer just keep him on my roster, and the drop would be Doug Martin

I don't think so. Josh is acting in his self-interest and promising team 3 nothing in return. Not much different than team 1 reaching out to team 4 and asking what they would *hypothetically* give for Beathard

Hmm, interesting point. I guess the main thing I was hoping to accomplish with 2 is making sure waiver 3 guy wouldn't forget to put a waiver claim in. It clearly benefits his team to do so but if I roll the dice and he's dumb the waiver 4 guy I'm playing gets Beathard and can compete more this week against me

To clarify, in scenario 2 I would not get Beathard at all. Scenario 2 is the one that basically gives me a surefire win this week while also preserving my #2 waiver for a potentially better waiver claim

i would just add him and dump ross or martin. neither seem close to startable. could trade or hold then

Yeah that's what I'm going to do. I do think I should be able to get some good value out of him hopefully, with a lot of people having QB troubles

I think asking what people will do in an attempt to screw over a third party is definitely sketchy (in this case, only making a waiver claim if the guy gets picked up by someone who in this instance you don't like).

I would be pissed if I was guy number 4 that #2 was asking #3 whether he was going to grab a guy or not.

In any case, pick up Beathard anyway, to trade to either of the other teams over the next week or two.

It is a reasonable trade and depends on rest of roster and starting spots, IMO.

FYI-I am in my 2nd year of my first dynasty-ish league and in my league (starts 2rb, 3wr, 1te, 2flex) I'd rather have the young guys.

I usually start Mahomes, CMC, Howard, Drake, AB, Tyreek, Landry and Kittle. Guys I have with some value on the bench are Godwin, Shep, Allison (and two GB rooks), KBenj, Tre'Quan Smith, Jakeem Grant, Ito Smith, with Guice and Hunter on IR.

Is Conner (can be kept for a 9th) a safe enough bet to finish this season and be the future Pit RB to offer Thielen (kept for 7th)? He also has Gurley and CMC but is hurting at WR.

What RB level is Theilen worth in full dynasty .5ppr? My WR depth is pretty great so would like to get some RB depth in exchange.

I'd trade Diggs. He has more trade value with the ff community. Most people view him as Minnesota's #1 WR. He's really good so don't give him away but he's viewed at a WR1 when really he's more of a WR2. He's younger than Thielen but Thielen's game is going to age well and Diggs has had some soft tissue injuries.

I'd love to get Jordan Howard straight up for Diggs.

Thank you both, I have an offer of Howard for Thielen from the Bell owner once Bell comes back and was thinking that was about what he is worth. I have offered all of my WRs and he is the only one people inquire about so wanted to get a better idea of his value. I do have an offer of Devonta Freeman for him but I prefer Howard and with Freeman hurt it doesn't make sense to rush the trade.
