i dont see any other huge difference makers that moved in FA though. graham in GB should do fine, but his ADP will probably stay around the same. maybe you can get him a round or so later, but the hype will drive him up.

hurns in DAL is interesting.
pretty much everything in IND seems like a dumpster fire.
same for CLE, although i suppose theres a scenario where tyrod loses the starting job by week 2 and darnold is actually great and that just makes landry decent again?
most guys on SF will be undervalued too, although that media hype might drive them up.

im really curious how the draft goes. this rookie class is super impressive.
What if Mahomes hits? Which he could. It's going to devalue the QB position even more. So many great WR. So many great QB. RB and TE are going to be the difference this year barring some crazy outlier year like mannings 50 td season or Moss's 20+ td season.

Best ball dynasty. Draft 25-30 players. Highest score after 3 years wins. Fire away.
Would it just be NFL Players drafted? Or could you draft college kids?

I probably wouldn't do it, but it sounds different.

This sounds amazing! I am in for almost any rules, buy-in, etc. 3 years is a long time though. I'd suggest you pay find a way to pay out 10% of the pool each year (1st and 2nd?) and then something like 50% to most points scored after the 3 yrs and 20% to 2nd.

I would vote that we let college kids get drafted.

Over the years, I've come to enjoy best ball and dynasty much more than traditional redraft leagues, so I'm intrigued. I'll keep checking in on this thread to see what develops. BahBah's suggested payout structure sounds reasonable.

Yeah I feel like you need some year to year incentive cause if you’re basically out of the running after year 2 guys are just gonna drop off/stop caring, which is what always kills dynasty leagues

It's best ball though - draft one time and then no one touches their team for 3 years. No in-season management. (At least, this is the case for most best ball leagues that I'm familiar with, like MFL10s. I think the FFPC has a few hybrid versions that are optimum lineups with weekly waivers.)

A-Rob recovery being the big question mark for me.
He should be, he only played lke 15 seconds last year on the first game.

I was thinking no college but not set in stone. Just an idea.

Yeah. This is what I was thinking. Just draft and then sit back and watch.

Sorry I missed quoting the comment on payouts. I think something very similar to what you quoted would be cool.

Got to be some serious concerns about Andrew Luck. If he's not ready for the start of the season it's a downgrade for T.Y. Hilton who will be looking at another erratic year. You also have to question if Luck is done for good. Scary times in Indy.

after so much time not playing plus the medical mess he was/is through, I really doubt he comes back remotely to his last form.

Almost draft day!!

Who we most curious about their landing spots? The Post Barkley selection between Chubb, guise, Michel, Sutton, Ridley is gonna be team/opportunity dependent on a lot of ways. Also curious where Moore goes, where the TEs go. Should be an intriguing draft, one of the deeper rookie drafts in recent years

Disagree it's an especially deep draft. There's 3 elite prospects and 4 maybe 5 good prospects. Landing spots could kill the short term value of all 3 of the prospects I have graded as elite as well.

i think youre just spoiled by last year - fournette, mcaffery, cook, mixon, davis, kamara, hunt, howard, engram, juju, etc. is absurdly deep.

but look at like, 2016 and who's still relevant - zeke, henry, mike thomas...fuller? shepard?

2015 -- gurley, david johnson, cooper, parker, coleman, ajayi

so i guess we can argue about the semantics of "deep", and id agree theres saquon >> probably 2 amazing guys depending on landing spots, then a good tier of ~6 or so. if youre a team with an 8/9th pick in a rookie draft, im feeling better about that pick than id feel 2-3 years ago's drafts is all i mean

Yeah I guess when I don't see a prospect I'm super excited about flying under the radar like a David Johnson or a Tyler Lockett I lose interest. There's a couple prospects that are flying under the radar i do like but there is nothing on that level that I see. I wish I could do some write ups in here but both our dynasty rookie drafts are the 3rd week of the pre-season. I would like a couple guys to fall to me.

So 8 WRs and 7 RBs taken in the first two rounds. Anybody have a guess on who will have serious value next year (other than Barkley)?

Penny, Guice, Ronald Jones, Kerryon Johnson and Royce Freeman all seemed to land in spots with limited/weak competition, so they all have a good chance to be pretty valuable imo.

As far as WR goes, while I like some of the guys taken in rounds 2-3, the ones with the most opportunity to contribute this year seem to be DJ Moore and Anthony Miller to me.

Lol rookie TE's/QB's.

All of this is assuming redraft.

I think jones has the clearest path to relevance next year, pretty easily. Penny has to deal with Davis and Carson, guise has perine and Thompson, Johnson has Abdullah. Pre season will be interesting

Agree that Moore seems like a great landing spot for immediate production. Ridley should be a solid play too,

Has anyone ever paid for fantasypros, profootballfocus or any other fantasy pay site for advice, to save time or help organize yourself if you have multiple leagues?

I'm in 5 leagues, all with friends, and it seems like they would save me a lot of time on the waiver wire since I think they all give you a list of top FAs instead of having to go into each league individually and see who's available.

Any recommendations on which is best?

What are your guys thoughts on Garoppolo for 2018?
Comfortable drafting him as your starting QB in redraft?
What kind of value does he hold in keeper leagues?

I'd be fine with him if I could get him at QB10 or so, but I think he'll be vastly overdrafted like Watson.

Looks like the top tier of RBs is (no particular order):

Bell
DJ
Gurley
Zeke

How would you rank them?

How would you rank the next tier (Barkley/Kamara/Melvin/Fournette)?

TG / Bell
DJ
(Antonio goes here)
Saquon
Kamara / Hunt
Zeke (his situation looks a lot like 2016 Gurley)
Melvin
Fournette

Also wouldn’t argue with Saquon going as high as 1.03 if it was your largest buy-in league and you really believe the hype (spoiler: I do)
