I’m the AB side just wanna make sure I didn’t rape myself lol .

I have tons of WR depth . But Landry is about to have a great schedule.

Will post both rosters after more feedback

Felt like my 3-3 team was sinking so in a PPR 12 teamer I pulled the trigger and sent M.Thomas/Lindsay for Kamara/Kirk

I still had a gaping hole at TE (and NOTHING on waivers, like 25 TEs owned) and had Luck on my bench so I just traded:
my Cam + Ekeler
for Landry + Brate

Old starters:
Cam
Thomas, Odell, TY,
Miller, Lindsay
Swaim (LOL)
2 of Godwin/Lockett/Ekeler

New starters:
Luck
OBJ, TY, Landry
Kamara, Miller
Brate
2 of Godwin/Lockett/Kirk

Not sure if I like it or not. Thoughts?

Couldn’t trade for a better TE? He had a TD last week but only one catch .

Yeah don't think Brate is much of an upgrade and Cam should crush rest of season with his schedule.

I do have Doyle on IR if that makes a difference.
I agee though, Brate not really a difference maker.
Deals were primarily to leverage a solid bench QB and acquire and Landry

Lol and now my commissioner is saying it’s not a fair trade and it needs to go up for vote

I think it's kinda of fair but AB is worth more than any two of those. Murray could be rendered totally valueless soon and even then he's only had one good week.

I was originally dropping Murray and he asked that I include him

So as the commissioner of this league, I was considering putting it up for a vote because I don't believe the trade is fair. Cook comes back this week rendering Murray useless. Landry has been garbage this year. Giving up the #1 or 2 defense, the top WR, and Kirk seems like a ton to get back 2 guys that are benchable and Jeffrey.

Thoughts? If the trade goes through, I might as well write the check to the team getting AB right now.

No vote unless you expect collusion. If you are suspicious ask the guy giving up AB how this trade makes his team better. If he has sound reasoning push it through without a vote, even if you/ most disagree. Your job as commish is not to protect people from making suboptimal decisions

Trades shouldn’t be vetoed because someone thinks they are unfair. Vetos should almost always be reserved for collusion/dumping only.

League voting on trades is even worse since even if it is a trade that helps both teams out, everyone else in the league has motivation to veto out of self interest.

All that being said, this trade is nowhere near lopsided enough to consider vetoing for any reason whatsoever.

Eddy BRATZ ruling with an iron fist.

Eddy, you should know better than challenging a trade just because you think it's a little imbalanced.

Is Gabriel over Robinson a universal thing now in PPR? I have a team where I own both, no idea what to do in my second WR slot. Is the idea basically that Pubisky just throws underneath now?

Seems that way. It’s the same way as Eli

is bratz going against the guy who would have AB on bye this week?

landry gets 10 targets a game and is facing literally the four worst pass defenses in the league the next four weeks

dalvin cook is always hurt and actually terrible this year. murray has several RB2 value weeks ahead.

lol at defense ranking even being a consideration. they just got rocked by the dolphins. 6 of the top 10 scoring defenses so far this season are on waivers in my league.

look i'd rather have brown too but it is nowhere close to vetoable

I pushed it through, I'll just send funds for 1st place, the rest of us will play for 2nd.

Nothing is guaranteed in FF. I had AB last year and he went down in the semifinal game. Almost cost me that game, and for sure cost me a chance at the championship. Although, I may still not have won because of going against Gurley.

Definitely not collusion, and you should never veto a trade because you don’t think it’s fair.

Yeah Jeffrey being the red zone target that he is really makes it far from that bad. Well chosen in the end Eddy.

General strategy question for you guys:

I have some really good depth this year in redraft. Part of me really wants to consolidate it into a better starter somewhere. But I figure the longer I wait to do that, the more I see how healthy my squad is and if I need the depth.

When do you guys start to try to turn depth into a better starter? Feels like if I wait too long the losing teams will be way too far out of it. There are plenty of 2-4 teams or 1-5 teams. Is it better to hit them now than later?

Depends if you think Nagy is dumb or not. Has their offense looked better running through Gabriel/Cohen or thumping it with Howard and throwing 12+ to Robinson?

Of course the answer is obvious but Nagy will start pounding the rock with Howard this week and lose 13-10.

Yes coaches are that stupid.

I've been trying to consolidate for a few weeks now. I usually send out 4-5 2:1 or 3:2 trades a week. No takers so far. In my league anyway it seems guys want to hold their good players and let the rest of their team suck.

My deepest league is keeper, so I think I'm waiting for deadline there. I'll be offering keepers like Kirk with an 8 and Gabriel with an 8. I think they'll be an appetite.

But in redraft, it's hard man. The yahoo trade evaluator really made fantasy football suck. I believe that if we used a platform with no trade evaluator, we'd see deals every week. And the thing doesn't even do a good job at all frankly. If you've got some bye issue it might make a trade look lopsided when a perfectly viable solution exists. I wish they'd make it optional (like the can't cut list).

I just don't think Gabriel is better at football than Robinson. But if he fits the scheme, hey opportunity is a thing in fantasy. There are maybe 3 teams Geronimo Allison could start on in the NFL, and he has the one where he can do something. Dude may get paid big too. Lol for context he wouldn't start on the Cowboys.
