I had 6 out of 9 spots on my team score 2 TDs this week. The only players who didn’t were Michel, my defense and my kicker.

In dynasty, what do you think of an offer of Drake, Shepard and Vance for Green, Gronk and Conley? Other owner is out of contention.

I’m in a DraftKings league with friends where 10 of us also did a side bet where lowest scorer is eliminated each week. It was down to heads up in the survivor-ish side game and I managed to pick a team that scored 0 TDs.

Seems reasonable if it is Ladarius Green.

You value AJ that highly when he'll be 31 next season and can never stay healthy? Honestly, I'd just hope to get a good playoffs out of him and then trade him in the offseason. I've never found him reliable.

More that I value the guys on the other side of the trade so little.

In comparison to a guy who might retire after the season and another who maybe has a couple partial seasons left, I could see it looking like a landslide trade for the other side in a few years. Shep and Drake are both 24. Shep is a FA after next season and I think he has the talent to be a top WR for a team with a better QB and no ODB. Drake has put up fantasy points whenever he’s gotten the touches, and Gore won’t live forever.

That's a whole lot of wishful thinking. And as I've said many times before, planning too far ahead in fantasy football is a fool's errand.

Drake can't even beat out an ancient Frank Gore for touches, there is no real reason to think he'll be able to beat out whatever 4th round RB or whoever they bring in after Gore is gone. If he's not getting a bunch of touches this season, there is no likely scenario where he ever will for the rest of his career.

And banking on an alright WR becoming good after going somewhere else in FA in a couple years, and that place just happening to have a decent QB and no top WR is just a silly parlay for anyone to rely on. There are what, like 2 teams in the league right now who fit that description?

Yeah, that’s the thing with dynasty trades around this time of year. Obviously I’m not going to give proven stud young players for players who are both injured and nearing the end of their careers. So it’s giving players with potential, but then the other owner has to see their potential. And if they are unfulfilled potential then of course you can make arguments for them both ways. Drake may be a bust who can’t beat out a 35-year-old Frank Gore or he may be a guy who already is a RB2 with upside for more if Gase gives him consistent touches. And Shep may be just ok or he could be a WR1 with the right opportunity. Both have shown flashes that the latter is within the realm of possibilities. Which is why the trade could look really bad in five years, because what future possibilities do AJ and Gronk have? But they could also be out of the league in five years, and maybe Gronk and AJ give another good season. The upside of the deal is much higher on the side with potential. So does that make it fair? I think yes. Does it make it an enticing offer? All depends on the other person’s view of their potential.

the same guy who earlier in the year offered me Da cook/Ma Jones for Kupp/Powell(ouch) and I accepted, just offered me Sony M/T Hill for M Ingram/C Ridley (standard nonppr)

Wuuuutttt? Can you tell him I have openings in my league? Hell, I'll create a new league just to play with him.

On that note, I'd try to buy low on Michel. The Pats just had a bad game, and they are about to have their bye week. They will come out strong after the bye.

I'm not too worried about Burkhead coming back.

7 left in a 10 man guillotine league, the first listed team (and team that had pick one) is the team eliminated this week. 0.5pt ppr everything else is standard.

My team is ash of course. My purchases have been Keenan Allen for $43 and Chubb for $31

How hard to I go for Kelce. I assume I have zero chance of getting Gurley.

are you just practicing your pitch to the other owner? shep could be a wr1 i guess, but in the same sense anybody could turn into a wr1 if they get a lot better and on an awesome offense

theres a much better possibiliy of aj green and rob gronkowski being strong fantasy assets in the next few years than kenyan drake and sterling shepherd

Nobody is selling low on Michel. If they held this long, they're not selling low.

Well, except for the idiot in P2's league.

There are plenty of players that are reactionary on a weekly basis that might sell low haha. Just like in poker, the donkeys are never thinking like you are.

I think i'd put everything on Gurley and hope for the best. I'd then put secondary bids on guys like Woods, Jeffrey, and Kelce with Kelce being the second highest behind Gurley. The only guys that need to be replaced in your lineup are Cook and Boyd. Although, you are in a semi tough spot with Chubb and Michel being on bye if you don't end up getting Gurley.

As far as what % on each, that's tough. I'd put a decent chunk towards Kelce and Woods. Jeffrey would be my lowest bid.

I forgot the kicker, he actually dropped Ingram week 2 or 3 while he was on suspension(how I acquired him). I guess Kamara's production those weeks prior gave him the scares!

$25 dollar league though fellas, big money!

Baldwin over Sutton, but close, IMO.

Baldwin should be getting better. I took a quick look and I think his schedule is better too. Week 16 KC is pretty sweet for a WR.

I was figuring out that I think it’s a fair offer, but that it depends if the other owner sees the potential in Drake and Shep, which seems to be a minority opinion. But it’s a minority opinion held by this owner, as I made the offer before I went to sleep and woke up to find it accepted.
