Thielen is a good player, but lol at top 3. He's not even the best receiver on his own team.

He finished 18th on PFF's 2017 end of season QB ranking with a grade of 79.8 - sandwiched between Bortles and Dalton.

What in the world are you seeing from him that makes you think ZOMG TOP 5 QB!!! ?

I haven't broke down how PFF does their grades but if 23 TDs and 4 INTs with multiple 300 yard games in your last 10 regular season games gets you a bad grade I'm not going to worry about it. Great footwork, quick release, total control of the offense, placing balls perfectly, weapons all over the place, best coach in the league........

I've seen other ratings where he's rated very highly. He passes the eye test for me right now. Let's see how he does against the Chargers this weekend.....the Rams haven't been pushed really yet. You know where they've gotten punched in the mouth and had to get up and back at a team with everything they got......letting Goff unleash the dragon so to speak.....

Are you adjusting for health? Thielen hasn't missed a game in his career - granted he wasn't a starter until 2016, while Julio has missed 17 games in his 7 years previous to this one (and seems to be questionable every week).

Without looking which one is Julio and which one is Thielen?

All I'm saying is one trades at God prices and one trades at WR2 value but they are both producing the same. That why trading Julio for Thielen + a nugget (in rafiki's words) makes sense.

I'm not so sure. Julio had one monster game last year. If you took that game away he was WR18. He averaged 13.40 points the rest of the year in ppr. I'm not saying he's bad but he's def overvalued. The offense hasn't been good since Shanahan left. Matt Ryan is overrated. Julio is always banged up. He doesn't score TDs. I mean how do you have 1400+ yards in a season and score less than 4 TDs? Like how is that possible?

He (Julio) without question ran below expectation with respect to TDs.

Julio has averaged 7 TD receptions a year for his career. He's not exactly a redzone force. It's awesome seeing the push back though. It's hard to see or realize.....18 games is a significant sample. Going back 20 games includes Thielen's huge 12-200-2 game too. He's outscored julio for almost a season and a half.

He wasn't that far under expectation though. He has had more than eight touchdowns only once in his career. A reasonable expectation for him is probably seven.

Which is still a couple higher than a reasonable expectation for Theilen. Theilen is great, but you're gonna want to avoid discussing touchdowns if you are arguing for his superiority to anyone.

Meh if you're counting games started Thielen has 9 TDs in 28 games started.

I think the argument isn't that Thielen is superior, but that the two players have roughly equal value even though Thielen's perceived value is much less and that this gap in real vs perceived value can be taken advantage of.

And in the first 28 games Julio started he had 18 tds. Larger sample sizes are more useful. If you want to prop Julio vs Theilen tds for ROS, let me know, but I'm sure you can get a better price than evens somewhere.

Plus, Julio already had his double digit catch big game this season.
