hard to do with teams still calling people up once AAA playoffs are over, but I would just look at this week's schedule, and try to look at pitchers starting Tuesday/Wednesday (depending on off day and such) to try and plan out 2 start pitchers. 9 YPL's, 7 playoffs (1 i missed on tiebreakers since the other team went 8-0-2 last week, bleh), 6 are on bye's for me, finished 1 league 30.5 games in front of 2nd lol

Playing a guy in the finals of a keeper league I commish.
I have/had a bunch hurt players (EE, Story, Paxton, Camargo) who aren't on the DL so had to make some tough add/drop decisions in order to field a full lineup and get in enough starts to compete. Ended up dropping EE for a bat, thinking he'd be out most of this week.

Guy I'm playing flips out today on our group chat when someone in the 3rd place matchup with the most FAAB left places the winning bid on EE because he thinks that the owners in the championship "should be protected". He's pissed that his bid wasn't enough.

If anything he should be ecstatic that EE is no longer in my lineup and he won't have to face hom this week.

I mean, is that "protection" bs a thing? His entire argument is that teams who out of it should be locked and he should've been given first priority because he's in the finals. But the guy who got Encarcion is still playing for 3rd place $$!
And that's not even accounting for the fact that owners may still want to make roster moves to add possible keepers, ESPECIALLY in a league that has designated keeper slots specifically for prospects.

Teams out of it usually are "locked", but not in Keeper leagues, and especially not in a 3rd place match with $$ on the line, they have just as important of a match as 1st/2nd

Anybody shying away from German Marquez at home vs. PHI this week?

His season-long home/away splits are about what you'd expect from a COL pitcher, but he's been nails at home (and everywhere else) in the second half.

I am in an incredibly close battle for first place in my 5x5 league. I really need Marquez's Ks but a big stinker could really screw me on ERA and WHIP. With all that said I don't think there's any way I can sit him the way he's been pitching.
