Osuna arrested last night for domestic assault on GF, released today, and MLB has put him on "administrative leave". No idea who takes over for closing, my gut says Clippard but who knows

Price scratched with numbness in his pitching hand. ERA over 8 since his 1 inning start. It was sub 2 before that. Lost 2 mph on his FB since then etc. Feels like a nerve issue.

It'd be really nice of my entire team could stop getting injured. Currently have 5 active players on the DL plus another 3 in the the DL spots. Who is the most cuttable from this list. Don't want to drop Reyes as it's a keeper league.

Bird
Murphy
Eaton
Myers
Miggy
Ray
Price
Reyes

Think I need to just hope to stay around .500 the next couple weeks, and pray some of these guys get healthy. Goddamn this is maddening though. Everyday another guy goes down

Also lost Lamet to TJ who I had high hopes for. Everyone except for Murphy/ Reyes were injured after the draft

I cut Bird and try to trade Price for pennies on the dollar

EDIT:
Harvey to the great is great news wooooohhooo!
Means the Giants can't do something stupid for him now.

If you can get somebody to trade for Price please send me their contact info, I have some great real estate investments to offer.

I don't think we can blame Baltimore's defense for Bundy's start today.

I agree that bird is probably the most cuttable, but he also seems relatively close to coming back.

I'm currently starting 3 of these 4 waiver wire guys in Lowrie, Franchy, Soler, and Span. So bird would be an upgrade.

My pitching is in even rougher shape, so I feel like I need to wait until the bad news comes for Price. Can't see his trade value being better than waiver wire fodder at this point.

I'd be trying to sell Corbin hard everywhere I owned him right about now. He's lost about 3 mph off his avg FB velocity his past 2 starts, but his results still looked decent enough that people might not know or care.

I'm ready to through in the towel on Holland, which will result in him immediately being named closer I'm sure.

6x6 roto with holds and OBP added. Currently in first by 12 points, my offense is loaded (top 3 in all cats).

I have Kershaw/Sale/Sev but nothing after that and i'm slightly worried about Kershaw

I give: Blackmon and suarez

I get: Degrom and Rendon

Suarez is the only player with keeper implications (can be kept at $4 for 4 years). I think he has some upside personally but also could be on waivers in a month as well.

Thoughts?

In a redraft league, anyone have a strong opinion on who we like better rest of season?

Luis Castillo or Drew Pomeranz

I think its prob close enough to fair (considering your need), but Id look to see if i could do better first.

Castillo's SwStr rate is almost twice Pom's, he has a slightly better BB %, and he will have easier matchups the rest of the year, so I prefer him by a good margin.

Easily Castillo. His peripherals are more or less in line with last season. Hard to be successful with a .330 babip, 65% lob, and 22% HR/FB all while maintaining 50% GB and a good swstr%

Man I'm running into some ridiculous hitting performances this week.
In one league I have a .400 OBP on the week and double digit HRs, but am getting crushed by a guy who has a .440 OBP, .600+ SLG 50+ R, 50+ RBI and 17 HRs!

Then in the 2p2 league Dan's hitters have a .415 OBP, 154 Total Bases (when the average per week is ~100), and 18 HR's... Im having my best hitting week so far this year and am getting destroyed.

Something called a "Freddy Peralta" just got called up from AAA, is starting today IN COORS, to be played by my H2H opponent this week as a Sunday special

4 IP, 0 H, 2 BB, 9 K so far.... wtf

I feel like the baseball gods shouldn't reward that kind of gamble in a spot start
