I have a trade going through in a YPL tonight. Richards is on my DL and was just activated. Will having an ineligible player in my DL spot stop the trade from going through? The trade will create a roster spot for me. I'm wondering if I need to make a cut and activate Richards or if I'll be alright.

Can someone please explain how Brad Peacock gave up 3 runs in 2 innings in an 11-4 victory and earned a save?

Looks like he pitched 2 innings - it was 4-1 Astros after the top of the 8th, so he came into the game when the Astros had a 3 run lead and then they scored 7 in the bottom of that inning, so technically he came in with a 3 run lead and pitched at least one inning - satisfying one of the requirements to earn a "Save"

Thanks! I was trying to come up with a scenario where he could earn a save there. He's on my team so I'm not complaining, just seemed very odd.

Enyel de los Santos being called up by Phillies tomorrow. 22 years old, first year in AAA with 1.89 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, 8.2K/9, leads international league in ERA. Know Velasquez is coming back soon, but if they don't demote him after the game, keep a very close eye on him...

Solid showing from Enyel de Los Santos. 6 1/3 3 runs. 6ks 5 hits, 3 walks. He got the QS and W.

I like how he handles himself on the mound.

The Phils sent him back down to AAA after the game. I'm sure he'll be back at some point.

So mad I didn't get him. After you dropped him I was monitoring him just waiting for him to show any signs of life. The first double I saw him hit he was picked up like a couple hours before or something like that.

Got offered Harper for my K Davis, normal 5x5 H2H, torn whether or not to do it. This has to be Harper's floor, and Davis is doing just as well as him (lower avg, but more SB). Have Marte/Hernandez/Peraza so dont really need the SB, but the upside of Harper has me torn, tied in 1st with 3rd .5 GB

Pretty fair deal. Unless its a 15+ team league I am not sure Verdugo is really deserving of being kept, even with 20 keepers. That said I guess I still lean towards that side of it.

The hot pickup I'm adding everywhere is Lourdes Gurriel Jr for Toronto. He's 2B/SS eligible on ESPN, and has 10 multi-hit games in his last 11.

So he's red-hot now and should have a long leash in Toronto.

Give up:

Paul Goldschmidt ($32)
Zack Greinke ($18)

Get:

Max Muncy ($3)
Mitch Haniger ($1)
Sean Newcomb ($1)

I feel like Greinke is pretty valuable at that price, and Goldy's close to a wash and might be thrown back. Did I get enough controllable value or did I give away too much?

Fwiw I'm in 7th place, 15 games back of a playoff spot (6x6), and not likely to make the playoffs this year.

How many keepers?
If its only like 3 keepers per team, then all of those guys youre getting back might be kind of useless assuming you miss playoffs. If its 8 or more then its a good deal for you.

Do prices increase?
