Home field advantage for me this week. I literally live right down the street from TPC River Highlands, host of The Travelers. In my past job I would take this whole weekend off and go 2-3 days. Unfortunately, I just started a new job May 21, and have been working weekends, so naturally I am steaming this summer. I was front row for Jordan's hole-out for the win last summer, and had Jordan and Berger in my lineups, and won some loot! If Berger had won, I would have cashed for more.

OK...Lightest week of the year I think. 6 entries in the $5 DK. In for $30.

Looks like DK has slowly but surely crept up and up with buy-in for this event. I remember when this tourney was $3, then $4, and now it's $5. They need to flatten the payout scale and not make it so top heavy.

One matchup bet. Leish over Tiger. I've been betting against Tiger and Willett whenever I can, and they are very +EV bets.

I would much rather pay the 5$ to win 100k than 4$ to ein 25k. I don't play GPP's to grind out a small profit over the season, I play them to Bink a big pay day.

It has changed my approach. I usually like to have about $40 in GPPs, allows me to keep a good core of guys and has been pretty profitable over the years.

Generally I would max enter 3 on one of the $5 Eagles, then put in 8 entries into the $3 Birdie. Then as that shifted to $4 I dropped to 6 entries. Now I'm just doing 3 and 3 generally the same three lineups in both.

It's interesting as the price has gone up my investment has gone down. I do agree with Shifty that I'd prefer the 100K 1st place prize.

P-mizzle seems like a halfway decent value this week or am I just nutso?
