He waa WR14 or something crazy like that and he didn't really start playing until after week 4. His snap count was pretty low. His snap count is going way up along with his touches. He also led the team in Redzone targets. Maclin is gone. You'd have to expect a serious regression in his production for him not to improve on his WR14 finish.

He's got a real chance to finish as a top 10 WR anf when i start doing projections on him his ceiling is surprisingly high. Like 280-300 point season high.

He will be one of the biggest busts this year. He is completely overrated as far as athletic ability goes (look at his college stats). He is not meant for the WR1 or "x" position. He has alex smith throwing to him. He has Andy Reid coaching who likes torun the clock, play "smart". He will be outmatched by CBS/S and can even be seeing double coverage a lot this year.
I would only draft him if i was going zero RB and could grab him as a wr3/wr4 at best for a flex play against good matchups. Yeah he has the "upside" but I wouldn't count on it.

Meh ive been wrong before and ive been right. I like Tyreek Hill a lot this year. KC took him off KO duties and Andy Reid called him KC's #1WR. I see a scenario where he gets 9-10 touches a game. I'll happily grab him early on every team i have this year.

For Zero RB, absolutely. I would love to have a late round pick like 11-12 (12 man league), and scoop up 2-3 of those 3rd/4th tier WRS like Bryant, Crowder, Monecrief, Snead, Hill, etc.

We'll revist a few weeks into the season...i think he's going to be tearing up training camp and come out doing his thing early. With what im reading about training camp now and the moves KC has done.....targets and snap count are going to be there.

We are determining draft order tonight in an LOL 8 team league(big money). Names will be drawn via randomizer and then we get to pick from whatever positions are left.

My priority looks something like 1,2,8,7,3,4,5,6

Would like some other takes with reasoning behind please.

PPR? Either way, no idea why you would want 8 over 7 let alone 3,4,5. 8 should certainly be last I'd think, especially since having two picks in a row limits your hypothetical strat edge. 2 might be better than 1 for same reason, since DJ vs Bell is a close call.

This year my priority might be straight 1-8, maybe flipping 1 and 2 and maybe flipping 6 and 7 if anything.

Yeah in standard I think I want straight 1-6, 7=8, then 9=10 but not really loving it

I want nothing to do with 7. Probably 1-6,10,9,8,7 in my view.

So what were the results? What were other folks' (apparent) priorities?

Uhhhh...
Luckily I drew 1st and took 1st pick, which is good because apparently my strategy was wacky.

.5 ppr, 3wr, 1 flex, 0 kicker. I'm think I'm going DJ but it's close.

So I'm done with my initial research, and want some opinions on the Tier 2 backs in ppr. After the big 3 + McCoy, the next few seem like there isn't much difference.

For me right now that tier is:

Howard, Ajayi, Freeman, M. Gordon, DeMarco Murray, Fournette

I've seen the rankings go all over with this group, except Fournette is usually at the end.

I don't think there is a lot of difference here - anyone have strong opinions on any of these backs to differentiate them?

I think I'm ranking them Howard>Miller>Ajayi (would be watching his concussion now, cause if that's something that recurs, it's bad) > Murray > Freeman > Crowell > Gordon > Fournette

Not really, his current adp is early 5th and with latavius' injury I suspect that continues to climb

The adp I really don't get is gillislee at 108...

Fantasypros has Cook and Gillislee ranked RB21 & RB25. ADP 52 & 67. I get that Gillislee will have some scoring opportunities. Cook is a beast and teams will not be stacking the box when he's on the field because he can catch.

Interesting, I was just glancing at FBGs current ranks (haven't really gotten into research yet), quite a bit of difference

What's the Crowell hype about? I can definitely see him as top 24 but won't Duke get his share also?
