Optimal HUD filters? Optimal HUD filters?

Hello,

how do you use your HUD filters and why do you think it's the best option?

1) Filter by dates/number of hands: which one is better and how much months/number of hands you include?

2) Do you filter by limits and do you mix fast and non-fast hands?

Please explain your opinion

Thanks!

Depends what information you are looking for. If I just want a graph of my last 6 months of play, then I set the date. If I want to look at 50,000 hands, then I do that. If I want to ignore nitring results from 3 years ago, I'll filter those out, by setting a date and limiting the number of players to 6.

The filters are pretty powerful and comprehensive. Most players (including me) don't use them to anywhere near their full potential. Once you have a decent sample size, you can learn a lot about your tendencies by running the analytical filters. Even just the quick filters like "cold called pre-flop" or "called 3-bet" can be very useful.

FWIW, I think this thread belongs in BQ not 'Poker Theory'.
