So basically you have no proof and it's pure conjecture on your part. Great talk as always.

You're just bitter because you cant work it out lol. I could explain it to a beginner and they would understand it easily. (I'm only talking about tourneys btw, the logic doesn't apply to cash games). It really is very straight-forward.

Contrary to the narrative you have created in your head I care very little about you and your make believe theories.

A+ trolling though. Definitely worth the price of admission.

So you still cant work it out lol, you're just a peasant This is all about me and Sklansky, and I am curious as to whether he has worked this one out. I've not seen it written anywhere before but it is really obvious. Oh Sklansky, where art thou?? These guys need you.

I have a proof that GTO is superior to exploitative strategy. I just won't tell you what it is, because you aren't worth my time.

First of all, you DO need hands on the villain in order to exploit him, unless you're playing micros or something. If you can't work out the reasons for this, I doubt you're beating any stakes higher than 10nl.

The whole exploitative strategy that you're using is based on the (false) idea that you are much smarter than all of your opponents, and you'll be able to perfectly level them forever. This isn't true though, and the "GTO" players + good exploiters will start destroying you pretty soon, if you don't know how to play GTO.

Also, GTO player would never lose to the exploiter in any scenario (even if the field was mixed). That's not even hard to understand.
and it doesn't matter whether it's a tournament or a cash game.

So is ZKesic's fully solved GTO strategy that is better than any exploitive strategy. It's better because he says so. That's all I need to know. Just like with you and your strategy.

Try to keep up mate. It's so hard trying to teach you and you just keep bashing me.

Re: Who is the Real King!? (or Queen)

Has anyone heard from Sklansky?? I do hope he's ok. Its very cold in England right now so I am genuinely worried about him... I suppose I will have to go on without him.

So, many of the theorists here don't seem to realise that if the perfect exploitative player were to play the perfect GTO player, the exploiter would use GTO. The players would be equal. However, if there was atleast one imperfect player involved in the game the exploiter would take more money from them than the GTO player would. If these three guys were in a tourney, the exploiter would build a stack faster than the GTO player and would then hold the advantage. Simple.

*****

It doesnt look like Sklansky, Lego, or Rusty will be taking me up on my challenge. But, is there really anything left for me to prove?? Rusty seems to admit that he sucks, Lego works on a building site, and Sklansky could only drag himself away from his blanket for long enough to write one line which was clearly completely wrong. Who's left? Zkesic, whos name is really annoying even to me, and JustGrinding. I genuinely feel sorry for you two guys. If there is ever anything I can do for you please do let me know and I'll send one of my sisters over to help you out. I have missed out Bob, but I like Bob now, so I hope you're doing well mate!

I am just about done with this thread. If anyone would like to add anything please do go ahead. Rusty, do leave it open for them squire. If any of you regular posters ever want to play me then just drop me a line. If I'm not too busy being the best strategic theorist in the world I will be sure to take you up on your offer. I'll even try to post my victories on here so everyone else can join in on the laughs. I'm not the kind of person who would shirk away from any challenge. If any of you ever end up understanding the game more clearly than I do I definitely won't hide away under my blanket! I will sing your praises, and will even bow down to you. Like any honorable person would.

Peace and love.
Yadi

F level trolling. At least the OP was something semi-original (except heads up for rolls has been around forever).

Re: Who is the Real King!? (or Queen)

Sklansky doesn't really post here on a regular basis. Most of his posts appear to be on fire-and-forget mode. Do you have some reason to believe he's in England? I believe he lives in Las Vegas.

It's obvious to me at least that the perfect exploiter vs a GTO opponent would end up playing GTO. That's basically the definitely of what a nash equilibrium is.

I'm not particularly interested in your challenge. I never play NLHE outside of 10-game or 12-game type settings. I'm also not a GTO player, however hard that seems to be for you to understand. NLHE exists in mixed games specifically to exploit people - it allows NLHE specialists to think they can hold their own in the game. Adding in LHE makes them even more confident, even though a really good NLHE specialist is usually a fish in LHE.

It's funny that you're "done with this thread." You started the thread. I'll leave it open, sure. Happy holidays.

So all this is a hype about your book? I hope it wont be something like "Let there be exploitation!" for 800$

What exactly is your challenge? Come up with a specific thing you want to do and post all the details and logistics of how it would be done and how it would work and I'll see if I want to do it.

But:

- You previously stated that we start with $50 and see who wins more. I'm not going to designate $50 and play cash games starting from there just to see which of us wins more doing it; it is a waste of my time. So if that is your challenge, then you are correct; I will not be taking you up on it.

- I live in New Jersey, so due to legal reasons I am likely to only play on New Jersey regulated sites. If this is a non-starter for you, then this is unlikely to go anywhere.

- I'm sure there would be various other issues to be determined, depending upon what exactly the challenge is.

Re: Who is the Real King!? (or Queen)

I started this thread so that all the theorists on 2+2 could battle it out to see who is the best. Some of you don't seem to have noticed, but I've already won.

I could have won the war on this thread but your champion fled. I only got to land one hit on him and he was gone. Don't be mistaken into thinking that Sklansky is simply too busy to post here. Some of you must have seen that he had his own thread running directly alongside this one. A thread that he prematurely abandoned as soon as I started this one. To top it off I also sent him a PM 4 days ago! That dude ran away, and he ran because I fully blew him out. Like I do everytime we post on the same thread.

A few of you guys fell quickly.

Rusty accepted defeat honorably.

Zkesic and Grinding took ages to realize that they were beat. I ended up having to explain the theory behind beating the perfect GTO player before these two GTO players were silenced... Let's not skip past that one... I clearly pointed out the exact problem with their logic. Logic which everyone thinks is correct. "GTO is unbeatable". I explained how this logic was flawed. I explained the basic theory behind beating GTO! I'm pretty sure that NONE of you realised that it could be beaten without another players co-operation. I presume those outside of the poker world have already realised this?? Surely one of you GTO guys know??? If I'm the one who get's to name it, in memory of these two theorists, I'm going to call this method of beating GTO - "The Back Passage".

I was only joking about Lego working on a building site. It was actually a bit of a personal joke lol, because I myself have been doing a little bit of work on a site this year. I quite like it. It relaxes my mind and works my body instead. I've been a pro poker something for 8 years now and manual work with a good group of lads makes a really nice change. It's honest work. And it keeps me fit.. In complete honesty Lego, I do think that you are the third-best theorist who frequents these threads, but, you must have something wrong with your game or you would play instead of work. I mean come on, I very much doubt you decided to stop playing because you randomly turned Buddhist and started feeling sorry for the beginners, like I did lol. I also doubt you work as a brain surgeon. If you had said you ran your own business I would have given you more credit, but you said that you had a full-time job mate. If you were better than me at Poker you would not have a job.

Gents, you should all be my allies in my quest to teach beginners, but instead you go against everything I say. I teach amazing stuff. Stuff that can even beat GTO! But you make it so that I have to spend all my time battling against you. I mean, I have found the way that we all naturally think through poker plays! The exploitative thought process, the Levels, which I am always describing is amazing in so many ways. I mean, this thing has been evolving for billions of years! It is the perfect play making thought process. You guys should all be planning you're own exploitative playbooks. You should be listening, learning and then contributing. But instead you just give me jip and I really have had enough. Unless Sklansky wakes up I am completely done with this thread now. And I will retire victorious. On all of these threads all of you always work together against me and yet again, I have beaten you all. To be completely honest, I don't really care if you continue working against me or not. It won't make much of a difference to me anymore, but, my job would be easier if can you can pluck up the courage to bow your heads and admit that I am the best. As much fun as this is, it would always be better if we worked together.

Haha A+ yad. Way to return to your troll roots. Also hilarious that you think Skilansky is the best of anything on these forums.

He is definitely top notch, I just think he's probably not one of the best theorists or players that post on the forum so choosing him as the champion seems odd.
