On the other hand you make full houses a lot more than straight flushes. When AKs makes aces full its always going to be the nuts, but ATs in going to be counterfeit a lot when ever a paint card is also on board.
I agree something doesnt smell right
The question is, are there more counterfeited full house boards (eg AATJ4), or flush boards that are 'safe' for ATs that aren't for AKs (eg, QxJx9x5y4x)? Here are the flush boards that are the nuts for ATs but not AKs (someone can check me on the board counts - my 3-year old is getting impatient)
QxJx9x (but excluding QxJx9x8x7x) - 1080 boards
QxJx8x (but excluding QxJx8x7x6x) - 1080 boards
Qx9x8x (but excluding Qx9x8x6x, Qx9x8x5x) - 990 boards
Jx9x8x (but excluding Jx9x8x7x, Jx9x8x6x, Jx9x8x5x) - 946 boards
Jx9x7x (but excluding Jx9x7x6x, Jx9x7x5x) - 990 boards
Jx8x7x (but excluding Jx8x7x6x, Jx8x7x5x, Jx8x7x4x) - 946 boards
= 6032 boards that are the nuts for ATs but not AKs.
Compare this to the number of boards that give AT a counterfeited full house and I bet you'll get a smaller number.
