Is rock-paper-scissors a good game theory example?

I am writing a short thing about the basics of what GTO means and I wanted to start off with an extremely elementary example of playing RPS with two robots who start playing at, say, 100% rock frequency, consistently exploit each other and then gradually iterate toward a "Nash Equilibrium" of one third frequency each.
Is this a good intro? Of course, RPS is also not beatable, which makes it different from poker in that deviating from Nash does not make you a losing player against a non-exploititive player.

There are several game theory videos on YouTube that use RPS as an example game precisely because it's a good intro for the theory.
