Hi,

What do you think of this hero call with AQo from the SB against Pluribus?
I don't have a strong opinion.

SB opens, Pluribus 3bets and SB calls. Flop comes 9h9c6h SB checks, Pluribus bets 1/2 pot and SB calls. Turn 7d check check. River Kd check, Pluribus bets Pot and SB calls.

It looks quite bad to me, but isn't "Bill" a human player? I'd like to know why he didn't 4-bet pre either.

It’s a good call in theory. We block AA/AK/KQ, which are the main value hands in his range.

It is easy to play vs. bots, nothing hero about it; the nut ace. Any decent player has a bluff range on that river as it is mandatory to get value vs. a reg long run. This could be like vs. an early open raise. A cash play-money game. The post-flop bet sizes are interesting to me even when they look natural.

Exactly this. However this should not imply that (any hand that can beat a bluff) is a call, although these hands would be strictly 0ev vs a gto bot.

Yes Bill is a human. I'd say that the standard play is to call the 3Bet, maybe sometimes mixing in a 4bet
