Hello

I been playing poker for 2 years and I would rate myself as a clueless poker clone who cant play poker at all.

I been winning at 50NL pretty ok I guess. Its very hard too estimate my winrate due too several computer crashes but my guess is I played 400k hands with a winrate at 2-3ptbb/100.

Now Im pretty fed up with playing 50NL and tonite I had a 10BI drop... Its not the money that annoys me its my inability too play good poker when won money at showdown is low. My redline is just falling strait down too hell. I have no idea how too fix it. Seriously I am totally clueless what too do. I tried loosening up postflop but that just makes my won money at showdown drop also .

What are the most common mistakes people do regarding too have a "bad" redline result? My thinking is: Calling too much preflop, calling too many 3 bets playing too passive postflop? And how "should" you play too have a "good" redline?

I think most players at winners at the micros (unless your a 28/26 LAG, which is a bad strategy at 50 imo) have a negative/declining redline. At 50NL in my experience I am winning most pots from bad passive players that go to showdown too often with bad hands. We make money from these guys by value betting at every opportunity.

There is no reason to be 3 betting light/check raising with air/ betting the turn more often (not cbet and give up when in position) and just generally fighting for every pot because they dont fold.

You can do all of the above against guys that are capable of folding and your redline will stop nosediving, but I would rather table and seat select and play against the droolers.
