It's not "wrong" as such.
I prefer smaller opens, except in the SB. I've got used to how villains play against
my sizes and ranges. I don't think pre-flop sizing makes a
massive amount of difference to EV unless you're way out of line (e.g. opening wider than average and for 4x, or minraising but as a nit). Your mileage may vary.

Usually fold to a flop 3-bet. They seem like pretty good balancers for the monsters, because they aren't really strong enough to check-call down with. (Hero has other FDs like Axs that could bink a pair that might be good enough to win).

It depends. On the Ts, my range can barrel flushes and straights, sets, two pairs and BDFDs (like ATo, A9o). I'm not sure what proportion of my range is barreling, as I'm not betting the flop much, but it's going to be value-heavy on such a "scary" turn, as villain's range for continuing on the flop is pretty strong.
On a blank like the 2h, the barreling frequency is probably higher, as bluffs need to keep betting, while hands like AA/AK are going for value. (The latter can't barrel for value on the flushy T unless they also have NFD).
In both cases, half pot is probably appropriate, but again you can vary your ranges with bet-size. e.g. go much more polarized with a big bet, or choose a small size and get thin value with a wider range.
