Purpose of multiple bet sizes

It's well known that solvers such as PIO often recommend employing a strategy where you split your ranges and use multiple bet sizes. My question is: What is the benefit of using multiple bet sizes?

Solvers don't recommend multiple bet sizes, they only offer an equilibria w/in certain parameters. The difference in EV between different sizings is minute. The reason certain/ multiple sizings are implemented are for exploitative reasons. That may be that a certain sizing applies the desired pressure to a certain range composition or to make the opponent unfamiliar w/ how to defend against a certain sizing and take him to parts of the gametree he's unfamiliar w/ and thus can be exploited. Aswell as balancing multiple sizings to extract more EV w/ our strongest holdings.

Solvers can create more "efficient" strateiges with multiple bet sizes. Some hands may want to play a more polarized strategy, while other hands may want to play a slightly more linear betting strategy. Although it's often the case that the EV difference between multiple sizes and one size is negligible.
The "optimal" bet size is largely related to the elasticity of our opponent's range. The composition of the ranges often creates "inelastic regions" which can be attacked more efficiently with many sizing options.

different parts of your range benefit more from different bet sizes
